I used to Love watching this show, in amongst the trash they showed (and still do sadly) this was one show i would watch religiously, something different and every now and again i will watch it on More4 channel which I'm pretty sure are repeats but it's still intriguing tv and you can't say that very often. This was a really good episode, and Rosemary....God Love Her, looking through her Uncle's things and her reaction to finding those photographs, just priceless!! I'm so glad she managed to beat her Cancer and was able to give herself and her kids a better and more secure life all thanks to her Uncle Michael, almost like an angel in disguise looking out for his niece, and I'm really glad she atleast got to meet him even jf it was only the once. What really surprised me was how that cottage had remained exactly as her Uncle had left it, completely untouched, it was like walking into a time capsule....quite eerie, you almost excepted somebody to come walking through the front door. I suppose the fact that the cottage is located in a rural area that it's still there as her Uncle left it, now had it been a typical suburban street house it probably would have have squatters in it. A really great episode, one of the best!

Great show Some people don't make wills because they are afraid there relations will argue! So they'll no it be split automatically to there family!!! Money causes close family to split apart , sad really ! Let the person enjoy what they saved it's there money and nobody else's 💯.. €njoy your hard earned savings!

Becoming estranged from family is no uncommon thing.

I like this show since I do Genealogy research. So exciting.

In fact this happened to me and my brother, our father died over 20 yrs ago and had an insurance policy we didn't know about and they found us!!

Why in heavens name don’t they have a will? It’s just part of being an adult here in the US. If you own anything of value, you get a will.

I hope Dorothys family had the decency to reward the nurse who looked after her !

This cheeses me off. Dorothy has to manage her husband's illness for years with only a visiting nurse's help. And later, she was alone, except for that nurse. Where was her family? Why didn't any of her cousins check on her, see what was up? And now, their children inherit her money without ever having done anything for her. And that nurse who helped her for years, she gets nothing. That's just wrong.

The younger folk today wont have nothing to leave behind..save whatever you can..

Nancy and Frances may not have been told that they had the same mother. They would have spent their lives not knowing that they were connected. The workhouse wouldn't have cared about family relationships. There would have been very little kindness or warmth provided. Frances became a closed off, harsh person. Nancy, for some reason, had some joy in her heart and managed to have friends. I feel sorry for Frances's children, because they have to carry the emotional wounds she gave them.

So Robin had all of these cousins, who knew he was on his own and needed help. Who didn't do anything to help Robin when he was alive. They didn't stay in touch to help him, yet they get the inheritance. All those people who WEREN'T related to him, who befriended him and helped him, get nothing. That's just rotten.
