Even after 4 years, I feel that I have to answer this review!! I just bought this bag, and I don't agree with the comments of my fellow driver. 1. Givi is well-known and has big experience in motorcycle accessories. Everything is tested on the field with thousands of kilometres and with professional drivers and no amateurs like us, if you permit to say. 2. I don't mind that the impermeable cover is inside. it doesn't occupy a lot of space. 3. I tried the two side pockets, and they fit well my reading glasses case, I also tried my mobile phone, samsung Galaxy Note 10, and also fit with a little try. 4. It has a beld with quick release that goes around the steering bar for additional safety. 5. If you expand the bag, it's holds a full-size helmet. That is very handy. 6. The strap that you described as loose for carrying the bag can be stored inside. I don't have anything to do with Givi, but I tried to be more realistic and reasonable. What to say about quality. Its very good. It's a great bag. If you are not happy, you can return to givi with all your comments. If it's still in production, that means that on the streets are thousands of happy customers as I am with this bag. Yiannis😊

Is it only adaptive cruise or lane keep assist as well? Lane keep assist is where it sort of pushes the wheel toward the lane if you start to leave the lane

I have this model, I tend to get condensation even from light rain up top, although I can't be bothered using the fluro jacket, I also mounted a Givi ring on the rear of the bike, it's too bulk on the tank. As for the top see through greenhouse compartment I'd never put a phone in there as the phone overheats when on. I'm going to upgrade to the Nelson Rigg CL-1060-ST2 as it's a little bigger and transfer the tank lock ring from the Givi to the NR bag.

Wow I was just looking at this today at the NEC bike show in UK 🇬🇧. Wanted it, but it was all display only. After watching this video I don't think I want this one now. Im a Lone Rider whore, but I don't want a tank bad with straps. I like the fuel cap ring fitting. I'll keep looking.

Thanks for this video, the solid 2.0 is the only cover that works well with my utilitrack bed but a few of the customer reviews I saw mentioned the ability to easily pry open the rear. Those vids were pre 17 though and likely had the old style clamps.

Amazing! Glad they listen to their customers. Our family is looking at buying a new Ford F-150 and might go with one of their covers.

Just a brief comment: this Explorer 2 “end cap” style works just fine on SUVs. Old style SUVs where the door swung out don’t work because the door swings out. But newer style SUVs where the door swings up, it works fine. It works on mini-vans too.

Take a pool noodle and slice it down the middle and slide it over the end of the cap door to prevent damaging tent or any other covering used

I have a different givi bag again with small issues that could've easily been rectified, their overall designs are awesome but ruined by small issues that it seems like they don't actually test them.

I have the this on the instrument cluster , the 2 lines of the road in the central instrument cluster… but i don.t have the button on steering wheel or anywhere to activate them, how can i activate? I have a 2016 f30 318i. Many thanks

I am the owner of this Givi bag. I still am using it on sport tourer motorbike. I agree with everything in the video + my zipper has already gone after one 12 day trip. Can not return it. There must be some realy stupid people at GIVI designing this. But must say outer design is good. Bag is not interfeering much for steering and belly. It looks good on the bike and that is about it. Oh, and tank lock is good so far. I thouth it could brake, but didn't fail so far, altrough plastic doesn't look too strong.

The clamps he has in this video is the old version the new version clamps lock onto the threaded rod after you hook the latch to the rail. Then the top can't be pulled up after you secure the two spring latches. There is a 2nd action that happens when there's tension on the latch and that tension triggers a locking clamp to the threaded rod stopping the spring action of the clamp. Beautiful. I'm going next month, but I'll be lucky to just walk a mile two, lol. I don't think even at a younger age I would have had the stamina to hike all this.

I have the 15L version of this. Completely agree with your criticisms. Quality is good and I like the tank ring design but the strap you are supposed to loop through headstock is a total pain. In fact, I'm about to amputate mine. And the sliver inner bag is ridiculous and pointless. Could've been so much better. I threw the iPad cover in the bin! ;) Let's hope GIVI listen to feedback and improve next release. Best wishes.

These first 2 years are best in my opinion, I have the 2006 candy blue I bought new out of the crate here in Columbus Ohio... these 1st gen years are faster then they talk about , I have a friend with a stretched built motor hyabussa that I wiped from a roll with him rolling up to me saying that thing is freaking fast ! And mine is basically stock other then lowered , g-pro and k&n air filter... nice bike you will miss it !

This is why I chose the Xceed, because love the design ideas and the innovations to reduce leaking... Mine doesn't leak, though I did apply silicone sealant to the front Seal and strap hold-down modules.
