In July 2022, I conquered the Nyala Pass (also spelled Niala Pass) in the stunning Agrafa region of Central Greece. This unpaved mountain road, reaching an elevation of 1,868 meters (over 6,100 ft!), is one of the highest in the country and offers a thrilling challenge for motorcycle enthusiasts.
The journey began on the southern side, starting from the Kamaria Pass. After navigating the steep inclines and sharp turns of the Nyala Pass, I emerged on the northern side near Agios Nikolaos on the Plaka Pass, not far from the village of Vraggiana.
My trusty companion throughout this adventure was the "Mule," my faithful 1996 Honda Transalp 600 PD06.
