Two door monster. sweet!
Great engineering . 6cyl could move big truck !
Perfect suburban ❤😂.
Me snd my Dad own a 1941 Chevy truck. Shes been restored with a modern drivetrain Man,i would love to own a suburban like yours to pair with my truck
The suburban was awesome and in fact better to have vs the truck that seats two. I ended up selling it to someone in CA that put an unsolicited offer in front of me I couldn’t refuse. It’s such a rare vehicle, I’ll always wish I had it again.
Sounds like some shims need to be pulled or rebabbited.
How much
👍
My son & I " are currently working on a 46 suburban my father purchased 40yrs ago, I remember we took it out hunting and slept in the back' good memories '
Omg I want her. I didn't know they made that few of them, awesomeness to the max. Would go great in my burban collection and she has the rear hatch doors not barn doors makes her perfect
I want one. Just wish I had the money, oh well.
What a beauty.
is this for sale?
I like that rear windows were also operable. 82 horsepower. What year did Chevrolet start badge-ing them "Suburban" ?
Knowing you just washed the vehicle, the birds were conspiring to start a bombing run.
Need updated video with sound of truck not music
Sound ?
Original sound was purged by RUclips because I didn’t own the music.
@@46chevytruck well that's communist California where u tube is located
most modern suburbans are missing the 3rd row too lol
Suburbans are awesome but I still like my panel
i missed them old youtube videos
Nice vehicle. Always great to see classics.
What a beautiful truck, great job on the resto! I hope it stays in your family forever.
Nice find. Not very many 1946 models of any type vehicles have survived in original condition. I had a 46 pickup back in the mid 70's that I bought for $300.00. It had been painted and had a bad 283 ci with a power glide. I had it for a few months but didn't get around to working on it. So many people kept bugging me about selling it that I finally put what I thought was a crazy price on it of $2500.00 and a guy showed up with his trailer in a few days and bought it. The next week I bought a new Chevy van for $3463.00. I bet the guys wife wasn't to happy with him because the truck was cobbled up pretty bad.
I had a 67 F250 that the neighbor spent months bugging me to buy, then he would bug my wife while I was at work. She wanted it stopped, and told me to just sell the truck. Should have never sold it...
That is amazing, I need one of them
Very good.Love.
Thank you for the review Watching a original suburban walkthrough was a wonderful experience.
Is your 46/ Chevrolet Suburban Carryall for Sale, How much is it? Juan (407) 577-0702.
Thank you so much for the video ❤️
I would pay you to give me a ride around the block. Just so I can feel what it was like back then. 💪👍 Very cool car. I have 66 carry all 4x4 gmc
Did not know the model goes back this far.......sweet
suburbans came out in 1935 with prototypes being made in 1934
Beautiful and unique model Suburban. You have a Wisconsin voice, but the neighborhood & topography are a lot like the suburbs of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Suburbans are a mainstay of Texas. Moms and dads wouldn’t be caught dead in a minivan. (Your driveway was as shiny as your vehicle!) NOTE: You’re just over 30K views as of my 12/18 post. Not too shabby for a special niche type vid.
Oh man i would rub on that thing for days and days until everything was perfectly clean and original.
Lindo demais, deveriam produzir mais esses carros
Relatively easy restoration all complete minimal rust or rot nice find😘
Very deceiving. It was pretty bad with rust holes that were bondo filled and metal cracks, etc. the hunt for solid metal was fun!
hermoso trabajo, impecable!!! te felicito, vivo en Argentina y acabo de comprar una Pick up 46 muy entera y de apoco la voy restaurando. Lo bueno de este vídeo es que te guía en el proceso de restauración... Gracias.
Dario Conturso glad you enjoyed it and appreciate the original restoration. Dario Conturso se alegra de que lo haya disfrutado y aprecie la restauración original.
We are just a couple connections from finishing the wiring and installing the dash.
I am helping my buddy Chuck Witt finish off his restoration of his 41 Chev pickup. Just finishing up on the wiring and the dash cluster is next..
ROBERT snyder good luck with the build!

great music can you please tell what the name of the band please I love instrumental
?
Would love to see more about your restoration but it seems your website has been taken down...
Andrew Bardone I unfortunately lost my hosting and have not had the opportunity to rebuild the site. While I have the resources, I simply have failed to find the time to rebuild it. If you are building a similar truck and have questions or need info; shoot me an email at 46chevy@att.net
Tim Sheridan thanks for the quick response! Don’t have the truck yet to restore or the time to dedicate as I’m swamped with the engineering program at Penn State, this is however my dream resto project and I’d like to do a ground up factory restoration like you did! I’m sure I will have lots of questions for you once I start haha. Just out of curiosity did you Babbitt the rings yourself, have them bored out to fit bearings or send the parts out? Looks like a fun technique to learn. Oh and how’s the Burb resto coming along?
Andrew Bardone sold the burb to someone that is keeping it original. I found oversized pistons and rods with the Babbitt done so I just used those. Local machine shop did the machining for me. Search artdecotruck.com on Facebook. I have a page out there you will like.
I love Fleet Farm and all...but keep this shit development away from my house in western Summit!!! I can't imagine walking outside and not seeing a beautiful farm field and wildlife happily strolling around. Concrete is ugly...to me.
mmmmm, I must say this makes me very sad. What a legacy of farming history destroyed so rich people can build their mansions. I live on the western edge of Summit and it pains me to see Pabst's land get developed. So much beauty destroyed. :( Keep Summit beautiful! Keep the farmland intact!!
Sweet ride !!!
So beautiful!!!!
