League Race | Week 8 | Karting Madness Braybrook
Another good week this week, being very consistent with qualifying and race times, hopefully this is thanks to developing skill and not luck of the kart.
Still need to improve overtaking and attacking, although I felt this kart lacked with accelerating but was good with everything else.
League Standing Update: as of last week, week 7, I have 192 points in position 8 overall

this week was pretty good, qualified in a good position and then maintained a good position. new fastest lap in this race with 35.154s I'll insert more later

I messed up the editing, the position is meant to be 4/14 not 8/14, cant be bothered changing it This week I channelled powers of Kevin Magnussen, Not a crazy exciting race and I caused a 5 kart train for the whole race, suppose that means i was good at defending, but it was tough trying to keep it consistent to not lose any positions. Week 4 of League Racing, they switched it up this week and reversed the direction of the track, wasnt used to this at all and wasnt fast. It was interesting, the track felt fun this way being new and different, it would be nice to do it more to get a better feel for it. 3rd Week doing League Racing, I feel i am much more consistent in lap times, although this race had a difficult kart that i'd say was somewhat touchy and difficult to drive just being thrown into it, made it a little annoying trying to get positions but oh well. Good job, would be hard. I heard there was a big crash, but that one was small compared to week 2.
When is reverse track next?
@EricDaFatty88 not sure to be honest, I didn't really know this was on until I got there, I think it happens at least once a season and is upto the discretion of the league to run it.
I was the one inspecting the wall at 10:45 and I managed to catch back up, nipping at your toes at 17:43 then we had a couple good fights. Good job taking back that position after the blue flag while I was day dreaming, but it didn’t last long haha. That side by side overtake 4 turns later on the last corner was intense - Kart 40
And what were your deductions about the wall? Anything interesting about it? 😂
Well, aside from being the perfect spot for a pit maneuver after an overtake, I didn’t find anything wrong with the wall itself. You'll have to ask Bailey.F, he seemed pretty keen on me checking it out hahaha. In all honesty it’s a courner to watch as we had a decent pile up last season that me Ayden and I Gabriel took advantage of, in short went from 10th to 3rd in one lap on a reverse grid lineup.
