I went on a Route 66 road trip through OK and let my dog out to pee on the roadside. He came back in with goatheads in every paw. I am no stranger to them; Mojave Desert is infested with them, too.
I like the idea of the pull behind, but the problem is you just spread the darn things. In my case, they stick to the tires of the mower and end up in various places on the equipment so they just get spread to places they havent gotten established.
You sir are a credit to mankind. I'm not sure if it was you who made a video several years ago of a similar device but instead of a screen to drop them into the pan it had a counter rotating brush. Never say that get to market though. Someone did come up with a sticker picker that uses disposable sleeve, but the obvious liability is having to handle and remove a sleeve full of goat heads. I like this idea better; the goat heads are insulated from direct handling by collection in the tray. I'll be ordering one tonight. I'll be sending in an order for a towed version fairly soon. Literally dozens of neighbors would pay dearly to have their fields culled in this equestrian community.
they sure picked the right name for this horrible weed. I have a simialar problem in my yard-Burweed/sticker weeds. They have got to be related. All I know is that it has put me through painfulTRIBULATIONS for the last 3 years.
$230 though? I mean... You can make this for probably $50 with a quick run to home depot. Couple of rods, make a wheel that runs into a container, and foam table liner.
Have at it then! I bet you find its harder & costs more than you think, and since you don't have prototype iteration experience on it, breaks down too quickly.
This is far better than dragging an old carpet across the yard. These damn things need to die! I'm still going to scorch the earth just to be sure. You, sir, are a brilliant man!
I wish that I could lower the price, starting and operating an American business and attorney fees and patents are crazy expensive, we actually have to borrow money to stay alive,
I ordered it. Still waiting to receive it. Had to pay $60 shipping (ugh!). I wonder if it depends on where in the US the customer is located to calculate shipping. I'll try the ankle weight idea.
I love this idea, I whish you had a bigger tow behind a lawn tractor version, we have acres of goat heads and the little one you made would take days or weeks to make one full pass on the property.
Great device and works as advertised. However, it is super squeaky! The first day it arrived I put it to use and the roller has an extremely high pitch squeak throughout the push. Not exactly sure where the noise is coming from but it gets a lot of attention from my neighbors, not in a good way.
@@stickerburrroller-inspired4933 Looking at the spare rollers, its probably the bushing against the axle, you aren't using bearings (I know, its simpler and cheaper to design that way). As a suggestion, perhaps make a deluxe model that uses a roller with bearings that can be greased (or sealed bearings for that matter since this device will get dust into open bearings), noise issue will go away, roller axles will last longer.
I have 2 acres of goat heads!! I bought the sticker roller and it’s worth every penny!! Super honest review the only thing I wished it had is a basket you can easily snap off and on. I would absolutely buy it again!!!! If you were thinking about getting one just do it!
Thank you 🙏❤️I appreciate your support and kind words, I actually have the snap option available, I am also creating pull behind version, I will let you know,
Great invention I wish I'd seen this years ago, I live in an area that gets tons of the stickers, but just this past year I concrete all sides of my house to finally get rid of them for good.
What do you mean? You just put a paving of concrete around your house? How would that get rid of them growing in your yard, or do you mean you replaced all the grass around your house with concrete?
I wish it worked on grass burrs. That what i have in my sandy soil.
Cuántas boones vienen x caja
Would this work on bur buttercup? Has anyone tried it?
Thanks for benefiting mankind. Truly great work
Sounds like my yard in Oklahoma

Awesome! Great invention
Tried to go to your website and it doesn't exist. I'm so tired of goatheads coming in the house and stepping on them 😢
Brilliant
this guy is a F U C K I N G genius
Small price to pay lol. I hate sand spurs. Pain in the asses.

I just ordered after seconds of seeing it. Hope they are a legit business.
I had burweed , I used spectercide and that killed it off before it matured .
Weed and feed fertilizer in early spring. Mow every week. Problem solved. Mow the plants before the stickers are produced.

Let us know if we can do anything for you, Our channel is Sticker Burr Roller, 💪 this is my nephew’s channel he made the video for me 🥰
This is awesome
I need one but I need to know if this works for the smaller stickers they’re not goat heads they’re more spherical compared to goat heads
Sorry for the delay Response, if it has thorns it will work, Please join our channel at Sticker Burr Roller, 😊
@@stickerburrroller-inspired4933 Sure, Thank you.

Snow Creek Berry ❤
I have about 17 bottles of different flavors.
Will this work on cockleburs?
Yes it works on cockle burrs 👍
Why is it $230!!! That’s insane.
100% agree.....
I wish that I could lower the price, starting and operating an American business and attorney fees and patents are crazy expensive, we actually have to borrow money to stay alive,
Best thing I ever seen for stickers
😍 love this! Our channel is at Sticker Burr Roller, 👍😊
I’d buy this but not for $230….
Then keep dealing with the stickers
Just mow the yard often before stickers come out. Problem solved.
Oh wow, I know that name, that's actually a test boosting supplement.. used to be anyway, don't think it actually worked.
❤😅 would love to have you join us on our channel Sticker Burr Roller 😊
Does it also work for sand burrs?
Yes it works great for Sandburrs 👍
I need this. Where can I order? I live in nm & have pets and its terrible when I put them out.
Then you can dump them at the golf course
Genius.
A have a strawberry hills...
The Best!!!!
I'm trying to buy one but I can't find the website
I have bought one of these and it just doesn't work that well and plus the shipping was $100
Darn I was hoping this would be my savior! I've tried burning and it doesn't work because the torch just blows them away and doesn't burn them.
99% say it works great, use ankle weights to increase efficiency, it helps if they are dry, I have never heard of $100 shipping? 😢
I ordered it. Still waiting to receive it. Had to pay $60 shipping (ugh!). I wonder if it depends on where in the US the customer is located to calculate shipping. I'll try the ankle weight idea.
Muy bueno el wideo me encanto

I love this idea, I whish you had a bigger tow behind a lawn tractor version, we have acres of goat heads and the little one you made would take days or weeks to make one full pass on the property.
I have created a pull behind that I will be putting into production soon, I have also doubled two together with zip ties,
@@stickerburrroller-inspired4933 when will the trailer version be up on your site? I'm covering way too many acres for the walk behind one
Growing into getting that up on the website, start your conversation with us we are anxious to help you!

I am sorry about the squeak, it is coming from the frame and roller, you might try wd40 but it will only be temporary,

I hope you have applied for patent. This is a problem, hugh. And you have solved it.
I have applied for the patent a couple years ago,👍🙏😊
This has been approved from the patent office finally 🙏👍
Does this work in regular stickers. Please respond so grandbabies can play outside
It works on the thorns, as long as they stick into the roller it will grab them,

That’s awesome!! What a great tool to bring to the market. I’ve used mine multiple times now and am very happy with the product.
In theory u should be able to make it work back and forth add another bucket on the top and a lever to disengage the original bucket right ?
