Wow Very Nice
Do you think you can time stamp the video??
Thanks for your question! I'll look into it but it might take a while as I do my own video production/editing, etc., and I'm a slow learner, LOL.
Why don’t you add tags to your video so it comes up when people search
I do add hashtags to my videos:)
Thanks Sarah, my birthday is July 4th, the same day as Independence Day, and once again, thanks for the video, May God Bless You

Much needed word for me today... thanks Sarah.
Modesty is a frame of mind! Exactly! That's just it! And not just for boys, but for girls as well.
I am patriotic
Great video!
Thanks!
I like what you are saying but only God can see our heart, the world does not therfore we need to reflect the state of our heart to the World as ambassadors of Christ, and a pure heart bears tangable, visible fruit, its not just some arbitrary feature no one can identify
Great point.
Well spoke. Thank you!
Modestly is the word of God and that’s how it should be taught. Not what we think. Modesty is definitely about what we wear and the condition of the heart; however, internalizing it Gods way is what makes it easier to do. Serving God is a daily sacrifice as believers and we should be striving to do things as he has instructed us. You have to start teaching this when kids are very young and it should be wrapped in the love and safety Jesus has and wants for us. I agree we should be kind and not jump to conclusions regarding peoples dress but it’s clear that if you say you are a believer and you’re displaying your thighs hips and breast, you’re either being deceived or flat out disobedience, either way you’re in trouble with God. Reading Gods word will get you where you need to be in your heart and mind. When you love him you want to please him. Boys should wear a shirt at the pool, especially men. We need to have more conversations like this.
Okay I was with you up until the point where you said you're in trouble with God and that men should wear shirts in the pools are you serious come on what are we 1934
It’s not about skin YES U could paint urself and be “covered” then Leggings, tight shirts, skirts May as well be painted on COVER urself, modesty. Women. Have some self respect. It’s empowering to be covered.
If girls should wear shirts, boys should wear shirts Breastfeeding is completely natural normal preferred! That’s not why girls wear shirts We all need to stay covered Sun guard is a great benefit too!
Someone dressing immodestly does not understand they are, is what I teach my kids. Their parents have taught them to dress immodestly. Good chance parents don’t know how to - even among Believers too, yes 🥺
Thank you for this “TIMELESS” video, 4years later it is still impacting and teaching. I have a 6yr old and 8yr old(girls) and have been really asking God how can I explain this topic without exposing to much of their innocence at this stage of their life, and I fell upon your video. This is such a great help, thank you ❤️
So glad you found it helpful!
_thank you for creating!_
What are you ashamed of?
@@YeshuaKingMessiah So you're ashamed of your body? That's sad. I'm sorry for you.
@@god_forgive_us5336 you need to repent right now, this very day, for your wickedness. Fall on your knees and cry out to your Maker. May He save you from the hell you serve right now.
@@YeshuaKingMessiah oh wow. I don't know whether to laugh at your absurdity or feel sorry for you. I'm sending good wishes your way for clarity, peace, and wisdom. May you be free from anger, ignorance, and greed.
It's not about being ashamed. It's about respect for the body. You don't need to be lust over or half nude to love yourself.
@@tynasiafraser2958 I completely agree that you don't have to be half naked to love yourself. But also just because someone is half naked doesn't mean they don't love themselves. Modesty has nothing to do with how you dress. For one person or one culture wearing a lot of clothes can mean one thing and for another person or culture n it can mean the opposite. Modesty is about being humble, which happens in our minds and in our hearts. Judging others and deciding how they should express their joy for their body is immodest.
Excellent!!!

A lot of my friends wear thongs, and the idea is, they do so to now show the edges or lines of their knickers. As if anything is ever wrong with that. But by wearing thongs, they're actually showing their whole bum shape and where sheer bottomed skirts or trousers are worn, they're showing their bum to strangers pretty much.
And is you bum so flat and shapeless that you are jealous 🤔
That's because they don't understand the importance of slips or buying quality materials.
There's nothing wrong with thong underwear.
@@gigi4874-w3w thats your opinion
Thong are so unhygienic.. Hope each time going to toilet everything scrupulous down there. Yuck...
Modesty in women is a way to communicate self-respect and dignity. Dressing modestly can communicate to our spouses that there are some parts of our body that are reserved only for their eyes. If a woman is single, it can communicate that she is saving what is intimate for her future husband if she chooses to marry. Modesty is deep and beautiful.
Very well said. Modesty is beautiful. There are many men who prefer dating women who dress modestly and many husbands who prefer the beauty of their wife’s body to be kept solely for their viewing pleasure and enjoyment. The modesty of a woman belongs to God who created them and through the marriage union, God entrusts the body of a woman to her husband for him to enjoy and preserve. A man has a duty to love his wife and protect her and in submission, the woman gives of herself to her husband knowing that her body is being taken care of and being loved by him. Even when she submits to him for something such has sexual intercourse, she knows that her husband has those sexual desires and she gladly satisfies it out of love.
*There are two types of modesty: Spiritual and physical* *The Spiritual aspect is true 1000% and is made perfectly clear all throughout the Bible. It shows in the way we act and treat one another. It's what we carry in our hearts and minds and spirits. This is what God cares about and what we should be striving towards.* *Physical modesty is a lie. It's nothing but a man made ideology designed to manipulate and control one another due to our lust for power. It's based on ignorance and our lack of understanding of what our bodies truly represent. This has no basis in the Bible or science.* *And that type of view is so dangerous because it puts sexual assualt victims at risk of being victim blamed. If a certain type of clothing "communicates" you don't consent to anything intimate then you're saying another kind of clothing "communicates" you do consent. So if that's the case, the sexual predators can't be held responsible for assaulting someone who's wearing certain attire because that, supposedly, is a sign of consent. People like you don't stop to think about this when you talk and that's why so many skeptics accuse the Bible and Bible followers of supporting rape.*
@@kennethfok *The main problem with us as people regarding physical modesty is that we view our bodies (nudity) as being inherently sexual. This is a false premise for the following reasons...* *Bathing, changing clothes, childbirth, breastfeeding, using the bathroom, sleeping, going to a sauna, getting a massage (at a spa), nurturing the elderly, nurturing the handicap ♿, locker rooms (for athletes).* *All of these things require (or can involve) nudity but have nothing to do with anything sexual. Why? Because nudity isn't inherently sexual, it's only looked at like that because we make it sexual. So we can't assume that someone showing skin (not necessarily completely nude) is "sexualising" themselves so we can't say that you can "cause someone to lust" by not dressing "modestly".*
@@thewriter2634 we don't view our bodies as inherently sexual, although we acknowledge it's beautiful sexual function. In fact, we are the ones who are somtimes overly sexual, and we live a society which is increasingly hypersexualised. With that mentality, certain fashions have emerged beyond function with that inspiration (let's be real, ain't no good reason to get that back of your hams BURNED on a bench bc it's booty shorts) (it's literally denim panties) ~said this girl
I would suggest reading "Theology of the body" by Pope John Paul ll. He hits the nail on the head on the beauty of one's body, and what it's for.
👍
When Adam and Eve sinned by eating the apple. That's when they were ashamed and covered themselves.
And if you believe that silly story you will believe anything.
@@Lili-Benovent and if you don’t believe the truth then you’ll believe any silly lie
@@Candi_Clown I don't know why you Christians hate me so much, I am only trying to enlighten you and bring you the truth about your evil God.
God bless you.♥️
*The idea of "modesty" is an absolute joke. God created us to be fully naked with NO SHAME and it was only when we started seeing the world through our eyes rather than through God's eyes that we started viewing our bodies as disgraceful. 99% of clothing has nothing to do with trying to be sexy, it's just the person wearing what makes them comfortable. Clothing doesn't influence evil actions, immoral character does.* *Now the man and his wife were both naked, but they felt no shame. Genesis 2:25*
That was before we were born into sin. After Adam and Eve sinned, everything changed. We cannot live like Adam and Eve did before sin came into the world because we are all sinners. After Adam and Eve sinned, they were aware of their nakedness and clothed themselves, as we are to do.
@@rebeccadore5578 *Nowhere in the Bible does it say that our bodies cause others to sin, that's a misinterpretation. The Bible is clear that our bodies are made in God's image and, because of that, we're the crown jewel of His creation. That's why there was no shame in nudity but we've lost sight of that but that doesn't mean that truth changes. Hebrews 13:8 tells us that Jesus is the same yesterday and today and tomorrow so if He thought our bodies were shameless yesterday, He still believes this today. Yes we have to cover certain areas of our bodies when we're in public because we'll get arrested for indecent exposure if we don't but clothing isn't God's creation nor was it ever intended by Him so it's not a priority of His. 1 Samuel 16:7 says WE LOOK AT PHYSICAL APPEARANCE WHILE GOD LOOKS AT THE HEART ❤ and that couldn't be any more true. David, Esther, Isaiah and Adam and Eve (before the fall) were all elevated when they embraced their natural beauty (bodies) so our bodies are not shameful "stumbling blocks", they're glorious elevation tools.*
@@thewriter2634 Genesis 3:21 God made clothes for Adam and Eve with animal skin. Our bodies indeed is not sin but it is necessary to cover our bodies due to the consequences that sin brought.
@@lifeofachristiannursingstu9498 *Clothing isn't the glory of mankind nor is it the pride of God. It's just an accessory you wear to cover the parts of yourself that the law determines need to be covered.*
@S. R. *How?*
It was crime to go shirtless near beaches during 1930's
*And that's the dumbest law I've ever heard of.*

Thank you so much. My 7 year old daughter is doing things that I need to discus with her and I had no idea what to say or how to say it and you really helped me.
I'm so glad, Shay! It's an important discussion, and one that you'll continue to have with your kids as they grow up!
As christians we dont celebrate nothing of darkness.
I think it is not easy for a westerner like you to get the perspective of an Asian family, let alone a rich / elite one. Asians are the silent minority in America and yet they are top in a lot of areas especially median family income and education. There is a reason Asian parents beat their children, it is because they are setting them up to the tough world out there. While individuals should not be deprived of freedom, they can enjoy that all the more when they are successful in life.
You’re wrong! Asians Parenting is still the best way to discipline a Child! Western style of parenting is inferior to Asian style and you have to admit it!
I think there are pros and cons to both styles, and having a care that we're parenting for the future, not the here-and-now, can be so helpful when we make child-rearing decisions.
