@ oh yes, back then it was half the price, I also bought a Raven jacket, it’s kind of an inside out Asteroid jacket.. but now I checked the prices and they are double the price, and I can’t see that they are making the Raven anymore 🫢

Yes it came with a collar and wind flap that was like a carpet feel, I had Mouton Fur put in to replace that, the collar was never a thick sheepskin which I wish it was, but this is what I got from a German company, Noble House…

I’m 175, 84kg and 108 cm chest with fairly athletic build. I bought the M size in bodaskins but I had my doubts whether I should go S or M. Which one would you say would be best?

For sure I would go size M,

But for me I would buy an Xtra Large because my body is a little bit bigger, I bought a large and it’s snug on me because of the pockets are pressed against my stomach inside and makes me look like I have a pot belly, and my arms are around 29 inches long so I can’t wear my watch as the wrist band smashes my watch.

I think there are some places have a showroom, this one is from Schott, I would love to step in one 😁

@@alfyman100 Unfortunately there is soo much bad info on the net. Theres a lot of ppl (women mostly) pushing coconut oil as a great leather condition which is so WRONG! Its totally the wrong Ph. Heck its the oil from a plant which has NOTHING to do with mammals. At least use something species relevant. The points i mentioned prior was from an article i read ages ago from a guy who’s profession was horse saddlery and this is what was taught during his apprenticeship back in the day. The article goes into great detail about what & why (and why nots) about leather products for preservation etc & one of those “why nots” was the use of neatsfoot oil. Neatsfoot oil probably feels like its done wonders in the short term, but its when it oxidises is when the damage happens on a microscopic level. Edit: its horses for courses! You must use different products for different leathers & finishes. Example: you wouldnt want to use a lard or tallow conditioner on boots/shoes that you want to shine, as the wax polish wont take. But for work boots etc, a lard or tallow based conditioner would be good.

Hi, yes I brush my sheepskin jackets, and rub mink oil and neets foot oil on the leather.. I try not to hang my jackets on a hanger, I learned my lesson when one of my previous jackets had lumps on the shoulders, I should know better 😓, I just brush the fur with a fur brush and remember not to hang the jacket..
