You can right click(empty hand) the daylight detector so it can detect when it is dark. It just avoids a touch of redstone flipping is all. I use a single bit of redstone to keep them separate because otherwise it doesn't always work. /meh dunno why it should. Also for the rain I use a volcanic amulet. Now that you got your first arch done the emc cost should be trivial for that and the pedestal.
Oh one of the latest update made the ae patterns emc. BEST FIX EVAR. lol not really it is trivial making them either way.

I will also comment for ars. If you make fluid source link you can pump lava right into it to make getting source easier. Then if you want you can automate that completely but honestly I never bothered, and did a later one for bigger returns. Also a vitalink works if it is near your mob farm, but then you have to faff about moving the source to where you need it. Also with the motors, I did like 6 of them when I first made them. That way I have a few extra's around for later create needs without having to faff about getting rotational energy. yea yea I could make a steam boiler and use a void motor but didn't want to. Peace

For ars, the more spells you learn the more mana you get. Also there are enchants to help so you don't have to use ars gear. Finally there is ars gear. ME personally with gem armor I just don't find ars that helpful. It's ok mind you for nitch things. Like creating light so you don't need torches. (I like the appearance of them better and they can be colored). Also clearing off negative effects I just use dispell. Leap is nice with a bounce at the end before you have flight. Also you can use it for silk touch, again replaceable with other tools but it is there. IF project E wasn't in the pack it would have a bigger impact, well I would probably make a mek suit or draconic armor. lol ok if they also weren't in the pack.
Also I've been gradually building heart canisters from the spare hearts I keep getting. I am working on the 4th row for my heart amulet. Honestly I don't need them but meh why not.
@@steveheffner the chaos guardian can chunk your health through the project e armor as you'll see in the new episode, so I'm also gonna work on those extra hearts, the warden drops the blue hearts I think
@@PrinceEvince Yes the warden drops the blue, and I read someone else say they used mob grinding utils grinder to get the yellow hearts from the wither. I know the mob crusher doesn't give you hearts but giving you a heads up in case you want to speed run hearts. Also I think a fluke but there is an enchant to get a mob spawn egg, I read someone kept killing withers to get that so they could make a wither mob spawner. Wild I say, just wild. Not sure that one can still do that or not.
@@steveheffner pretty sure that is the capturing enchant from apotheosis, but on top of that, you can make mob spawn eggs with mob grinding utils by right clicking an entity with a mob swab, turning it into chicken feed and feeding it to a chicken, the chicken explodes and drops the mob egg of that mob you originally swabbed--that being said I am unsure if you can swab the wither. I do have a wither farm with a mob crusher and you are correct, I am not getting any yellow hearts from it :(
@@PrinceEvince I tried to swab the wither you can't. /sadface Hence why I said about the enchant. I just haven't found enough desire to get that many withers or yellow hearts to warrent me fiddling with enchanting a sword to do it. Interesting point about making mob eggs, I didn't know about that a week or so ago. I just never needed to make a custom spawner, or really fiddled with spawners to begin with. Anyway I think in order to get the grinder from mob grinding to work, you will need it as a spawner and no ai so that you can force it too the grinder. Humm Maybe fans might also work.. I would try that with a grinder. Well if you are interested in speed running hearts.

For flying speed, I just tried this but it’s killer for long distances. Put on slime boots and bounce once and trigger your flying again before touching the ground. When you sprint fly forwards, you retain the boost from the boots. And you can even swap back to your good armor and still keep the boost. If you stop moving and start again YOU STILL HAVE THHE BOOST HAHAHA. Until your feet touch the ground again you will have a nice speed. I use this now any time I need to travel to a far off new destination. Cheers, loving your videos!

If you are in Gem Armor you can do a Shift-X and that will give you night vision.

Is there a way you could use skeleton bows that have enchantments for the enchantment power maker thingy? Vanilla skeletons can spawn with enchanted bows there must be a way to be able to filter unenchated and enchanted bows

To destroy the Crystals on this "new" Chaos Dragon you need to make him shoot these balls at the crystals, it will destroy the protection and you will be able to break them.

Hypothetically, you could double your EMC at the cost of 1 obsidian 😀 Right at the start, you dropped redstone dust (64 emc), and placed 1 obsidian, punched it, to get the flux dust (128 emc). As long as you feed it back into the system... But it may just take a while. Maybe. (Perhaps automatable?) 😆

@@PrinceEvince I've seen ChosenArchitect do it with AE2 in... I think it was his ATM9 To The Sky playthrough. The pack did come with an easier way of farming obsidian (I think it was barrel mixing?), but it should definitely be possible with annihilation planes and such!

I remember a while ago one could cheese the potion generator with just water bottles. It is just a step or two less. When I get into that sort of power generation, I am already thinking of longer term storage. Like an induction matrix/draconic ball. I also use cheese with my power storage meaning high priority goes to the matrix/ball lowest of low goes to a trash can. That way things that need to keep running (like your misc generators) will continue regardless how much can be stored. Also comes in handy when making a fission reactor/steam generator combo for anti matter. I assume anti matter is needed, it is like always needed I swear in every pack. That being said I like going to a fusion reactor. Yea I could make multiple max size steam generators using the steam from it, but honestly I just don't need that much power unless it is a flex to fill the max size dragon orb. Oh and I am very unimaginative for my flux, input and output. I use to do weird names, but meh I went with kiss. I am still early in this pack, made 1 of the cheese easy plushies, and working on the 2nd easy one. They don't seem overly hard, just annoying to get that 1 item that you have to go out and search high and low for to then realize you need a few more of those just 1 more item I need to search for..

Instead of using a router and a cow for milk. You can make a glass jar. Put a cow above it and then drop an anvil on it making a cow in a bottle. You can then pipe unlimited milk from it.

The crafting table on a stick hotkey didn't work because it wasn't in the correct curio slot. you HAVE to put it in the crafting table on a stick curio slot for the key to work. its darkly outlined towards the bottom of the list. This version when you shift click into curios, everything goes into the generic curio slot first, instead of where its supposed to.

And now you got the mekanism autocrafting I would recommend you a induction cell from mekanism as a battery. It holds a ton of energy but is a bit tricky to set up.
It's super good but needs lithium, I'll have to think about that one Will probably not be next episode because we're chilling with our current power :^) I love how it lets you easily see how much power you're generating/using though

If you craft an Alchemy Bag and put a Void Ring inside it, you need to whitelist any blocks you want on the the ring, it will "absorb" the items and put all these itens inside the bag and transform then into the highest EMC item possible automatically. So if you mine thousands of ancient debris blocks, it will automatically convert them into some matter of higher EMC value. Also, I think you were mining the ancient debris using the "mine staircase" from the veinminer.
in the next episode I get a diamond block dimension and wanted to use a backpack with a pickup and compacting upgrades, it works great but for some reason the right clicks weren't as effective and couldn't mine a billion diamond blocks like it could with the ancient debris--any idea why? i was stumped on that one lol
