I agree that modern Christianity is not real Christianity but I don't agree that it's protestantism that is at fault. Martin Luther would be disgusted by modern Christianity. Also Independent Fundamental Baptists fight ridiculously hard against Occultism and New Age. Read: Gail Riplinger's book "New Age Bible Versions" she exposes New Age for what it has done to the Bible.

I'm so happy I found your channel and love these talks with Mia, discussing all the new age bla bla. I thought I was not so deep into it, but after two of your talks I must admit I was for a very long time 😅 I can laugh about it but also cry. Exactly 30 years ago I would enter a monastery of the Poor Clares. I was so happy about it, but then strange things started to happen, being anxious, could hardly breath anymore, when the bells rang to go to the chapel I couldn't move anymore. I didn't know what was going on, thought it was a sign that I made the wrong choice. So 1 week before the entering I let the monastery know I wouldn't come. It's the only thing I regretted so often during the past 30 years. And now I hear you say that the devil will let you do anything, but don't follow Jesus. That makes perfect sense! It was okay that later I was with a guru for 7 years, .... so much going on inside of me now, so much aha's! Thank you both and thank you God 🙏 This is really life changing!

oh my gosh, I live in Charleston and attend Holy Ascension!! I am one of the newer catechumens and I have loved learning about orthodoxy and growing spiritually. I am going to be chrismated as well and I am so looking forward to learning all that I can. This video was so timely and I am so glad to see others who have walked this journey before me that I can learn from and be encouraged by. I hope all are having a wonderful Great Lent season, Christ is in our midst!

Very interesting, and thank you. I've been discovering Orthodoxy and Christianity in general for the past few months. There's a lot I like, but also some things that sound wrong. When he said that God never blesses rebellion, does he truly mean "never"? What about rebellion against evil? A big part of my beginning to see the unseen, if that makes sense, is that i saw the evil in the world, what you call "worldly" things - the _only_ way it makes sense is if something is trying to destroy human beings. We're ruled by evil. It crushes people's spirit, gives them false hope, leads them down a path of destruction, persecutes the people who love them and try to save them, and fills every medium of communication with lies. When i read Jesus' words, that Satan was a liar and murderer from the beginning, i knew He was telling the truth because i recognize that evil. We're sick with evil. Its a disease, and it's disgusting, and it makes us disgusting and eats away at us and kills us and enslaves us. We are ruled by it... It controls everything. How can God not bless rebellion against that?
