so in fact the only places you can find gold in Gympie is in owned creeks requiring special permission while they confine us to deep creek , better known as snake alley, roast creek, baren creek ...sucks full on . Got magnetite in my place ... i m not far from Gympie and Kilkivan. about 5kms for kilivan and 39 km from Gympie. i know not much about geology but magnetite is not black sand or is it?

Thank you, almost waist money on 900. Not worth 800 is better value for money, improvement are minor, and range is the same. Expected far more. Ground test is bit different and may work in favor of 900, but almost 100% proper ground test would show proportionally the same results between 800 and 900. Thank you again.

How do you think the 900 would go in Kalgoorlie area with the highly mineralised soils ? Looking for gold. I would be interested to hear your opinion I got a gpx4500 for myself but thinking about getting a equinox900 for my daughter's and grand daughters because they are small people and the 900 is nice and light.
