It would be even better with Sean Kinney on drums

Blood and fluids are exactly what I never liked about skinny puppy. I always imagined modest shows such as this one.
Jerry is the best❤
Say hello to your girlfriend I wish you only happiness
Don't sound that good honey I'm so sorry question mark ❓ I wonder why All my love daddy Jerry 👄💞💋💘💞💋 can can okay as you get into it it sounds a lot better honey
Sorry baby you're drowning out someone wasn't right on the PA
Greg?
Jerry is incredible!!
Jerry’s the man
nice to see that explanation, and see that N.O. could outgrow his pain, survive, mature and thrive as a person for himself & as inspiration to others. Thanks being wholly authentic and progressing on every level. ❤ back at ya!
Ogre, everybodys favorite part of the show is when you take off the mask and do the encore and we get to see your very beautiful and smiling face. . blooded or not. Its seeing you and seeing that you are ok and healthy and still you under there that we are excited to see #staySkinny
Ogre came over to my house after Bauhaus reunion show. I went to the show alone as the guy I was seeing was being a douche. I went to the show awardedly alone. I got into the venue and omg, OGRE was next to
Just got to see her live in concert in Houston, Texas last night. It was an amazing show! I was thrilled to meet her and discover what an absolutely wonderful person Lacey is
the real tragedy here is not that the performance started or stopped being about an icepick, but that the performance started bwing abou tthe performance instead of the message. i got people going through a genocide you don't even know exists but back for SIXTY YEARS in we, 5t, 949ua. and the domestic things i can't type if this is gonna be visible. thanks guys for caring.
beautiful! Love all of you ladies
Love You too Judi! ❤ miss you all!
awww.... TooMucHLove!!!
I remember reading these comments and people saying stuff like “they forgot they’re Skinny Puppy..” but videos of this last tour seem like it was an awesome show.
The alien is really relevant with what's on the media.
❤
This is so amazing and takes me back
Feel like I grew up with Skinny Puppy as they grew, but I'm on the younger end of the band's lifetime. I saw them live for the first time on The Greater Wrong Of The Right tour, I saw them at Eye Vs. Spy, I saw OhGr on the Tricks Tour, and I just saw them on this tour this year. And honestly, I don't think I would have liked it with the sort of theatrics I enjoyed at The Greater Wrong of the Right when I was a punk-ass 17-year-old. They closed their career out well and I'll always love these guys. But goddamn do I hope OhGr does a final hurrah somewhere. I'll take time off and travel for that if I have to. Tricks Tour at Underground Arts in Philly was KILLER, and that's despite Ogre having his jaw randomly broken. Welcome to Philly, my guy! 😂
I just wanna give him a big ol' "psychic" hug. So glad he made it tru to a better place, and hey, to if you're out there whomever it was that wrote him the note, thank you! You're my hero. 💚
skinny puppy changed my life in 1993, when i was a wee 14 year old. i'm 44 now, and they still change my life every single day.
Always growing, maturing, evolving. We thank you soo much for everything always Skinny Puppy! We love ya!
Every time I hear the part about the ice pick I kind of tear up. Those kids cared and I'm so grateful for their intervention and Ogre's willingness to hear them.
Me too 😢 I'm a not quite recovered self harmer and hearing people talk about it is tear inducing. I'm so glad he's jn a good place now 🖤
It has me crying... I wasn't expecting this to move me as much as it has.
Skinny Puppy saved my life. Long live the Deep Down Trama Hounds.
nobody does authentic like nivek.
I really wish they'd keep going. I truly did not find it lacking at all.
I didn't see this until now, I am so happy he's in a great place now and also addressed the people complaining about how they should present on stage. I was happy with what we got and I'd rather him be authentic then putting on a show that doesn't represent where he is at.
I agree 💯 I want to go back
U didn't come to Detroit ❤I met. U in Detroit and I thank you for your help please believe me when I say that us in Detroit really missed you
❤love ❤️ friom Detroit
Real, human, beautiful ❤
Last Skinny Puppy show I saw was the “Greater Wrong of the Right” tour. He didn’t do any of that stuff and it was the best Skinny Puppy show I think a I’ve ever seen.
Have you seen others before ? The peak was Too Dark Park to me.
Well said ❤
I truly thank the person who filmed this; it is such an amazing insight into Orge's mindset. He's an humanist at this core, and an intelligent, creative and powerful human being, and quite humble in regard to his many people talents. My husband has been a fanatic of all of his music for decades; I met my husband when we were both 16 and have been together since then. He is now 43 and I'm 42. We went to two of their shows on this tour and it was cathartic for him seeing SP complete their musical journey. My husband cried all the way through "Worlock", embarrassing so (from his prospective), but I think it's not something to be ashamed of. SP has been a huge part of his life and therfore, our lives for so long. It's wild how music guides you through life; the ups and downs, highs and lows...its a journey. I think it's beautiful. I am SO grateful for all the music through the years, and beyond that, humbled to have been part of it, seeing Orge perform with SP back in the late 1990s through a few months ago. I just don't have the words to describe it properly, so I'm rambling to a bunch of strangers who might read this... Thank you. Just thank you.
Truly a legend that deserves a world of admiration
I always used to love all the blood, gore and guts. It was part of their show. Great theatric art. Of course we all know self-mutilation is not a good example for some vulnerable souls but back in the day I think most people saw through that. Ogre is a sincere seeking spirit and its good to hear he has evolved over time.
SLC this past Thursday, excellent show!
The show was awesome! Glad Ogre has found a healthier place & I loved his Alien 😁
You finally are growing up. You were the first authentic people i ever met. I was with Dwayne in that hotel in Tampa. It was the last time we spent the night together. Im sorry for hurting you. You never gave me a chance to absolve us.
come on guys no negative comments on here this is skinny puppy for gods sake, first off im 53 and was jamming them in the 80's he is 60 yrs old,he used to crawl around bending his knee's on stage all night good lord that makes my knees hurt thinking about it,so he out grew the blood and stuff so what, its a change in his life,I THINK that you who were there got to see something super awesome,Ogre telling us how he really feels deep down inside, now how man people have got to witness that ? huh i would imagine not many.i love the dude i think he's a great guy,i love all animals just like him and i hope he is a very happy man these days.cant party for ever guys.
Uh yeah, you don't actually have to be suicidal or whatever to use fake blood and do horror theatrics. At all. SP changed the stageshow from what it used to be back when they were a trailblazing, underground cultural force, and some people think the new show isn't as good. I am one of them. To me, this seems like a dishonest response from him to the criticism. If he's not feeling SP anymore, then don't do SP shows. Doing it kinda halfway is just bad. I sat this tour out for this reason.
You haven’t listened to a single word he said. Have you?
@@llnn5112 Yes, it was bullshit
@@respobabsyou don't get it, because your own terms are what dictate truth and what all things should be. He gave his explanation and it was authentic, you clearly never understood this band for anything other than what you wanted to see it as. You don't like it, that's as deep as it goes, and that's fine.
damn they were here and i didnt even know, ive been jamming skinny puppy since 1988 cruising around smoking weed, doing lsd,and extacy and what ever and yea im 53 now funny thing is ive been watching skinny puppy live video's and the cure here the last week early in the mornings when i cant sleep and get up at like 4 am,and wow they were just here,i was excited to hear the cure got the rock-n-roll hall of fame in 2019 i didnt even know that,i saw them in 1989 at the summit, good stuff to hear ogre talk.
Lack of pretension for such a provocative and theatrical band is not an easy thing to do. I'm glad I got to see you live finally. Was on my bucket list.
Hoping there are more POV "RANTS" to come 🖤⚘
I was at the Montreal show, it was my first time seeing them live and (probably the last if it's really their last tour). I was blown away and it was everything I could have asked for. The crowd was mostly Gen X or boomers. They were the ones who have seen the band at their most crazy era and I feel like these were the ones making most of the complaining online. These guys are in the 60s... You can't expect them to get on stilts, wear multiple elaborate costumes and drench themselves in blood every night for more than a month. People have become spoiled and have unrealistic standards. I think that the Kevins had great energy at the show, a lot more than I would have thought considering their age, especially considering how hard it is on the body and mind to tour. I found that the show was even better once all costumes were off. Just Skinny Puppy being their realest selves waving goodbye one last time. If you talk shit about Skinny Puppy because of this, perhaps you were not there for the music and you were there for the wrong reasons.
Jeez, yea I’d say it was the younger crowd. It seems instead of going to shows, music or whatever it may be, if it’s not what their own expectations were,!instead of appreciating the show that is genuinely worked hard on and performed for them, they go right to social media and complain and put some kind of bratty outlook on it. It must suck going through life being and acting that way. Learn to appreciate, understand, and enjoy things instead of putting your own expectations that might no coincide with every other person, or the artist themselves, that it seems they are in a good place in life and it feels they are genuinely happy, and that’s great to see, knowing they have brought us all happiness. Thank you cEvin, Ohgr, Mathew, all members(past n present)of skinny puppy, forever will be a fan of these legends
Such a Good Video - I have watched this about 5 times They have been such an inspiration to me in my life
Don't jump at 1:40
Couldn't resist 😊
thank you for sharing
To me, Skinny Puppy's music has always been about all the horrific shit out there in the world and how it gets thrown at you and you have to be stronger than it and not let it overtake you. I find it very uplifting and inspiring and it has always been there for me in good times and bad. Great speech Ogre. I wish I could give you a big hug! I hope there's another leg of the tour they book and I can see them again one last time
They just listed many shows. I’m in CA. Don’t know where you are, check it out before they’re gone!
@@HeadNtheCloudsThanks for looking out dude. 👍Got my ticket to one of their hometown shows😃
@@colinrussell2017 oh cool man! I’m seeing them in Anaheim . My hope is not smothered
