I would suggest that infectious disease will be greatly mitigated by this technology as well. We all know that for the vast majority of infections, some people get them, some do not, some suffer greatly, and some are left relatively unscathed. During Covid, for example, the vast majority of deaths came to those who were older and had multiple comorbidities. This technology could potentially make it so people maintained their health to a much greater age and did not develop the comorbidities that potentially resulted in death from infection. Covid is not the only example of this. Pneumonia has long been a leading cause of death in the elderly even though it is barely a problem for younger people in modern times.

I guess this gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "Two heads are better than one"!

i had a theory about symmetry.
