When it was printed in 3.5 edition it didn't have the "hand held" requirement. So in a "Level 1, one-shot" game some made a bard that just dropped Pipe Organs on people's heads. That game also had a guy who took the heaviest level 1 race, the obese feat, and maxed a jump skill and strength score then used the generic heavy weight tables to jump and fall on opponents to kill them.

Attach strings to a battleaxe and turn it into a guitar or banjo and boom now the bard can summon a weapon lol

The bard of our group summoned a tuba with this cantrip so he and I (the wizard) could use it as a battering ram to force open a locked door when everything else failed. Things that happen when your group lacks any strenght based char.

Yeah except they'll never be as strong as pf1's companions. Even a phantom, the weakest companion type in pf1, will be stronger than the usual options in pf2.
