You need to hold your brake for p to activate lol. Even if you are moving, it just goes into neutral.

The +- sign you see behind the steering wheel is used for manual shifting, if you hit the plus sign it’ll automatically go into manual mode

Its whats happening at the other end thats the worry, as the selector module can fail and then you are STUCK
It's a nice feature if you think about it because your hands stay close to the steering wheel.

What does it mean when gear indicator on dashboard have arrows on P, N and D and when you switch on and the arrow stays on N when you drive?
P=Push button inside, thats why arrow left R=push shift up D=push shift down. N=stay middle
The stick will stay stuck in position ( like d for drive) and u only hit it again if u need reverse
The trunk should be a other gas tank
