I did the binder this current year for 1st grade, 9th grade and 10th grade full kits. This coming year we will continue with full grade kits but each kid will get a file drawer and each course will be separated by days (lessons) in hanging file folders. So all I’ll have to do is open Shelby’s file drawer and grabbing day 50 for language arts, day 48 for math, day 55 for history, ect or whatever lesson they are on in that course for the day. So, each day I make sure the calendar is correct for the day, I make sure that yesterday’s lessons were all checked off and then I gather items needed for that days work. Then I grade everything from yesterday

Hi Katie! I’m a new subscriber! I think I also met you a year ago when we went to the zoo and Whitney was there. We used to live in the same town as her too but we moved away a couple years ago.

I enjoy Abeka just to make sure I hit the high points or things a kid should know at whatever age. We currently use Usborne history books for our history but when they are a little older I already have Story Of The World (it was too much for them at this stage). I plan to use Abeka a few times per semester but primary Story Of The World

We like Masterbooks for History. My Story K or could be used for both of them together.

I am using Story of the World. It's a nice read out loud and you can add more or do less depending on the ages. My youngest doesn't sit long for it, but my oldest has taken it to read on a head.
