Very nice short analysis. This movie was really so deep, and every scene was like a painting. I also loved the way hirayama gave so much attention to the small things that he had. Like his cassettes, books and plants. He dreamt about the little things that happened with him every night. And the most beautiful of them all was that every morning he looked out of his door into the sun and smiled with joy.

    • @artpickles8710

Thank you! Yes, you are absolutely right in putting it this way - every scene was like a painting :) Fun Fact - all the dream sequences were shit by Wender's wife. These sequences summarised so much about his memories of the last day(s). Just like how we dream of what is happening to us - the laughter, the sorrow, the pain, and the hope.
