Various Scenes of Rudy translated from his native Italian tongue (the best I could do) English is my first language obviously :) Let me know if you see mistakes :)
This and the comments made me understand how Donald Trump became president of the Us.
Se le veía su bella cara algo hinchada, quizás ya empezaba la enfermedad o no había descansado bien
Eyes! Smile! Lips! The small scar on his cheek! This man was a living doll. 😊❤
Hot!
I love you in 2024, Rudolfo Pietro Fillaberto Raffallo Gugliemi d'Valentina d'anguello. ❤
Those eyes......
He looks like Mexican actor Pablo Montero ! 1
Como pasan los años. A más de cien años y el recuerdo perdura. Mucho por este hombre que lucho por sobresalir. He ahí su imagen eterna en nuestros pensamientos, es de nosotros los que lo amamos y recordamos.
i love rudy's calmness and kindness loves everyone has awesome personality highly intelligent yet very innocent fun loving awesome video!
I see why the ladies liked him.❤️💞
Thanks for this!
I think our man Rudy was a simple soul.. he always seemed a bit bewildered by his fame.. but he was going with it. I think that was his appeal.
Que brutalidad, que hombre tan guapo, desde todos los ángulos de su cara.
Handsome but not the best by any means. Sad, he died so young.
Que brutall el hombre, hermoso. Sobre todo eda risa.
These images were from a home movie. He was not only incredibly handsome he was a very fine actor, much more than he is sometimes given credit for. Absolutely stunning! Beautiful ,and according to Mr. Charlie Chaplin, Rudolph Valentino was a man without vanity.Remembered , respected and loved. R.I.P. Sir.
❤️

His cuter than Adam Levine.
Rudy had a flair that no other man ever displayed. His look from top to bottom was perfect. Wearing gloves sealed the entire outfit. Totally amazing.

He almost looks a bit embarrassed at all the attention. They say he was quite shy.
THAT'S RIGHT ABOUT RUDOLFOVALENTINO IS SO SHY 🤭 😳 😅 ☺ 😄 😆!❤
Janice, I get that vibe too -- that he probably was a bit embarrassed about the attention. But no one could help it. He had it all and it needed to be put out there for his fans.
❤️❤️❤️ He was such a dream❤️❤️❤️
I wish he had been placed in cryonic suspension.
I think this shows he was a friend to all these men...& so sweet to pick little girls up!! ...i wonder what they said yrs later about it...!!

Era un uomo di spessore.
Un giovane intelligente con apprezzabili interessi culturali. Elegante..... Il più importante divo del cinema muto con Greta garbo, secondo me me.
He spoke Italian, French, German, and English. Gloria Swanson said that he spoke English very well, with only a slight accent. And people who worked with him said that he had a very good voice, and would have moved over to talkies with no trouble. It's a shame that he died so young. Imagine him acting in talkies with Garbo!
I know💔💔😪😪😪😢😢😢😢🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏just love him..........yes Garbo...or even MARILYN ....WELL.....Clark GABLE..was a older man & STILL had it going on..attractive /rugged. Masculine ..always ...& was her LOVE interest in "THE MISFITS" .....can you imagine Rudy..??!!He could of been about 60 ..64....awesome look at GARY COOPER & AUDREY HEPBURN IN "Love in the Afternoon" ...look at CARY GRANT & Leslie Caron in " FATHERGOOSE" ..ha! I think he was about 64........look at Harrison Ford. & his younger wife TODAY....Men just get better!!!! It would of been SO AWESOME!!!!!!!!
Indubitably ! If MGM had put him under contract & matched him on the screen with Marie Dressler the sexual sparks would have flown off the screen !

Alguma coisa tinha que aparecer, ele não era mulher, ora...kkkkkkk
Hahaha na época essas fotos causaram furor, a ponto do estúdio ter que mudar as próprias fotos das propagandas.
I always loved this man since my 20's I started to read and watch his movies and documentary 's about him, now I'm 51 and still love him alot. So goodlooking and built good, he looks better than any hollyweird guy today. And he dresses good too.....aaahhhhh...😘🥰💗💞📽🎬🚬💖🌠

None of those you mention come close to Rudy's beauty! NONE!
Oh, to have men dressed so beautifully, in modern society... I have photos of my grandfather, in gorgeous suits... My grandmother combed her hair, and put on lipstick, to take out the trash.... Those were the days, of personal pride, and presentation.... Valentino was a " Natural....!!!" What allure.....
See the kids? Thsts what rudy. really wanted. Wrong woman for him. Hes always cheerful! Never gloomy or frowning!
He frowned in private. He turned on for the cameras but he was quiet at home. He had sadness in him....He actually did put a gun to his head at Falcon Lair and was stopped by the painter who was his guest. He was pretty depressed near the end...
@Barbara Shernoff Zumaya but even on page 347 of Leider's book...Sept. 1, 1925 on the day he wrote his new will, according to Beltran-Masses (the artist who painted him and who was staying as a houseguest). He wrestled the gun from Valentino's hand
@Barbara Shernoff Leider is out of date...Zumaya has more recent documents pertaining to some key aspects of RV"d life...
@DL I don't claim to be an expert, but I do like to research beyond the repeated "lore".I just fill in gaps that are in sources that people may be unfamiliar with. Why don't YOU try to find information that adds to the picture? He was a complex human being, not just an image for fantasy. The stories at the time are a reflection of how the publicity machine was unrelenting, the hostility was cruel, and the stressors were intense.
@DL Well, at least you appreciate Ullman! Many don't. However, there are other people/reporters who he was open with who reveal other anecdotes. Ullman is not the only source. There is also Villalobos, his own relative's PhD thesis aa a source, which I have. Also, RV gave many interviews to key publications as part of the PR push and worked WITH them. I have found plenty of discrepancies/gaps in the "accepted" stories which have negative biases or are just not accurate. So, what is your issue? I am a trained librarian/researcher and I examine things and try to get facts. I question everything I read, cross-reference, etc. I do not categorically accept everything so when I say "from what I've read" I am indicating how I have sifted through many older sources closer to the RV era, newer stuff, and fill in the picture, recognizing that there are new documents or facts that are still coming to light. There are things held in private hands that should be in historical archives. That is where my collection will go as older materials disappear over time. I don't make "bold" statements that are not researched. My blog is fully sourced, BTW with full citations. I was trained that way. I don't have definitive answers to every question but am willing to raise them on the basis of research about the era, academic studies, etc. As an Italian I find it very interesting, the very different life RV had from most Italian immigrants. At the end he was ill at ease about where his life was...as H.L. Mencken recounts after RV sought him out only days before he died.
Italian Guy...of course.
The man could have had a huge ego but he had NONE. Do you see how he shook all those cops hands he didnt have to do it he was grateful to them. the man had true humility. Real class.
I love that film of him coming from the train and shaking hands with the police officers. He was so graceful and elegant. Then, after he lights up his cigarette, he is sort of surprised by the close camera, but smiles into it. Totally amazing. His smile was playful, magnificent, infectuous and malicious all at the same time. Who else had or has that trait today? No one that I have seen. Rudy will never be replaced by anyone.
Exactly. That's why such videos are invaluable. Sometimes they tell us more about a person than a dozen books and a large folder with documents.
He wasn't posing. That is part of home movies and he hated being called the greatest lover.
Oh i see.....how neat homemovies....!! Now the public can see them great.....yes i can see he would not like being callwd THE GREAT LOVER"....lol he was Very humble i think....well just like ELVIS didnt like being called THE KING"!! .he felt there is only ONE KING......LORD G-ALMIGHTY💚
