I just wanted to say first off, love the podcast!! I studied Fashion and now work in Fashion in London and the content is such high quality. Also, I had so many things I wanted to say while watching this episode. Jasmine is soooo right about them having a sense of exclusivity based on the store location, I grew up in India and again would watch all of these youtubers in America at the time and ALL of them shopped at brandy melville. It felt inexpicably 'cool' to wear brandy melville as a teenage girl and I remember when I went on a german exchange programme in school, the brandy melville store was on the top of mine (and all my friends) list of places we wanted to go in Munich because we couldn't get it back home, which is so wild looking back, the brand rlly had 11-15 year old girls in a chokehold all over the world!! Now I'm older and don't shop fast fashion but one of my younger cousins sometimes asks to go shopping at brandy melville and it makes me sad to see that brandy has managed to keep that age group and consumer who is too young to know better and question their brand values, espically becaise there is already so much pressure on young girls to look a certain way. Also, if you two want a laugh, google the brandy melville tiny door in paris it is soooo bizzare, talk about taking the whole one-size thing to the next level...
