I have just recieved one just like the last one you showed, the only thing i can see diff is that the "43asw" marking is in white...like it has had some paint put in there to see easier
These have really gone up in value, I disassembled and cleaned every K98 bayonet I ever had, not sure if that was a good or bad thing.😮
Where do you find these? I want to get my hands on one.

Not so sure that so called Kriegsmarine helmet is a Kriegsmarine. Most likely it's a toned Heer. There's not enough decal to say for sure. Otherwise it's a fantastic shell and I especially like the genuine ID still on the rear skirt.

that decal was clearly drawn on by someone who didn't have a clue what they were doing.
yes it was but it was during the war its a drawn on decal to show they are apart of the german nazi party

NICE COLLECTION YOU HAVE THERE. I'VE BEEN COLLECTING SINCE 1960. I HAVE 24 W.W.I STEEL HELMETS AND 19 W.W. II STEEL HELMETS. I JUST LOVE W.W.I HELMETS ! I THINK THEY ARE THE COOLEST THINGS EVER TO BE DESIGNED TO BE PUT ON THE HUMAN HEAD. PIG SKIN LINERS AREN'T ANY THING SPECIAL, THEY ARE JUST LATER WAR ISSUE AS OTHER'S HAVE NOTED.

Nice helmets, especially the possible Ex-Police. BUT I have never heard that Pigskin liners where only officers. I don’t know where you got that info from, but to my knowledge these where just a late war variation out of scarce material situation (you only see them on M42s and Quist M40‘s really). Also, i dont believe the last M42 is Kriegsmarine. It’s a yellowed Heer Decal (They yellow with age) as if it was KM it would have no silver whatsoever. Still very nice helmets tho, and seemingly all original.
The silver on the KM decal is just rubbed off decal it’s the decal backing and I got the pig skin officer liner from a collector at the OVMS show so idk if it’s true or not thanks
@@noahfonner4153 I know it’s the backing. KM decals had no silver backing, only Heer decals do.
Nice collection, I have a Heer M42, Heer 2nd pattern Pith helmet, M38 Luftschutz gladiator helmet, and a German WW1 M16 in a rare size 68.

Hello , you have such nice helmets and I wanted to ask which online shops you can recommend to me for original helmets.
Your best bet would be to go on eBay and gun broker or go to military shows in ur area there is a huge show in Kentucky called the sos and a nice show in ohio the OVMS and go to local pawn shops and antique stores.those are all your best bets thanks for watching and commenting!!
