I've just spent five hours doing what others class as a sign if insanity! I followed the foolproof method to the letter, over and over, but couldn't get the small sonar image on the app screen no matter what I tried. I removed the wifi for the boat and handset from my phone and then reconnected them with the passwords, to no avail. OMG I was tearing my hair out! Whatever I tried, it didn't work. So, I did a quick search on the Rippton Facebook threads and there it was.... Neil's 'things you must do to get the proper set-up!'( or words to that effect. Click on the fifth icon!!!!! And yes, it works. The mini screen appears and you can then do the rest as instructed in the tutorial. So, having successfully done it I came back here to have a rant to find that Neil had actually posted an answer to my original question about this procedure!! I just wish this had been included in the clip/tutorial in the first place. C'est la vie! Edit: due to circumstances including ill-health, I'd forgotten about this. As I had only just purchased the boat, the routine had not yet been engrained. Onwards and upwards!

Hi mate sorry to say that it would not be the same. CatchX pro has an interior module that integrates the hydrobat sonar so the sonar interface and bait boat interface are on the same screen with a 300m sonar range. However, if added to the CatchX black the sonar could not have the same range of performance.

YES mate you can see the map showing the depth of the water in the area you just scan

If a scan is saved in your history, can you select any point in the scanned area and get the sonar image for that spot...or along a line so you can see the change in the lakebed topography?
