First of all the train driver whom you referring as train driver is not driving the train. He can come ordinate with driver who is in front boggie of vande bharat train. Regardless of this fact, it is always advisable to reach 1hour if not hour then at least 30 minutes before departure time. Sometime platform number gets changed last minute and then you need to run around. So teach at least 30 minutes before departure time to avoid such painfull situation.

These 'Bengalis' usually are carefree, self centered and with a very casual approach in their day-to-day life. Most of the people have such experiences while traveling in trains with them.They speak too much and too loud not caring for the co- passengers. In this case why this man didn't reach the station well in advance considering the physical constraints of the old lady. Some one has rightly commented here that he reached the station before the scheduled departure with 82 year old senior citizen and 8 year old kid well before time, because he was not casual in his approach.
