He was an amazing player who was under-utilised by Eddie O'Sullivan....and as a result I think we were only given a taster of what he could have brought to the table internationally if not on the Lions tours in 01' and 05' when he was really on a roll. He led Munster to that Heinekin Cup victory just a year AFTER he made his last appearance for Ireland in the Six Nations....
