Robert Sanders is currently pursuing his master‘s diploma at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna with Prof. Lieke te Winkel. While completing his Bachelors degree at the Eastman School of Music in the USA, Mr. Sanders won a position in the orchestra academy of the Vienna Philharmonic in 2021. He has performed with the VPO in the Musikverein Vienna and throughout Europe, Asia, and the USA. He is also a regular substitute at the Vienna State Opera where the 2023-24 season brought the premieres of Lohengrin under Christian Thielemann and Cosi fan Tutte under Philippe Jordan. As a chamber musician, Mr. Sanders has performed in such venues as the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, the Brahmssaal of the Musikverein and the Bank Austria Salon.
