Aww so beautiful 😊
May I use this song
🇩🇪🇷🇺🇩🇪🇷🇺🇩🇪!!! NVA-DDR🇩🇪🇷🇺🇩🇪
The first time I heard the tune it was used for the D-day dodgers, but that led me to Lili. ruclips.net/video/0_nKEAkDCtg/видео.html
It seems to me that it was written to be sung by a male.
the photo is giving me so much anxiety. late war K98, WW1 top and helmet, WW2 low boots with putties (should be gaters), and an oversized K98 belt.
Schon
This may well have been the most popular version at the time it came out. It is lovely. I had not heard it before. Dietrich's is better known now.
The most popular version was for sure from Lale Andersen, who recorded the song in 1939. When it was played by „Radio Belgrad“, it became popular on both sides of the fronts. It was played by front radio stations right before the end of transmisson at 22:00 CET. Alone the german original version by Andersen sold 2 million records and was the first „million-seller“ in german history at all.
@@YAORGja genau
My parents still have a gramophone record with Andersen singing🧐My maternal grandparents were 17 and 18 in September 1939.
I don't know about most popular version but Dietrich's version is not a patch on Lale Anderson's.
Why WWI German soldier?
The original poem was written in 1915
It was written during WWI but became a world wide hit in WWII
I like male version better
I love this song but why put the anime girl? It makes people not want to watch the video
Very beautiful ! Love it ! 🎶👍💐❤️
Lili Marlene, is for man singer song 🤷🏽♂️
Ich habe jetzt auch Gänsehaut…DDR Einfach Toll…!!! 🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪-DDR…

Me and the boys on our way to invade Poland
Hello from the Netherlands! Interesting version. Song with emotions. Favorite song of both the Germans and the Allies. Translated into many languages. A song whose lyrics were written in 1915 by the German soldier Hans Leip from the poem Das Lied eines jungen Soldaten auf der Wacht. The song, recorded in 1939 by Lale Andersen, became a big hit only when it was played daily at a certain time on the Belgrade radio for German soldiers at the front from 1941. Allied troops were also able to tune in to the Belgrade radio and soon noticed it. Since then, the song has been covered frequently, including by Marlene Dietrich. I also played this beautiful song on my harmonica. It's far from perfect, but it comes from the heart. Please critisize! ruclips.net/video/b6NmtkQSFPw/видео.html This is my general list: ruclips.net/p/PLU5c7_PpNso3kFO3dvhaR2ecGggbg9d4b
It was written by a male and is from a male point of view. I don't think male versions are all that rare, but the most famous version is Marrlena Dietrich's of course
Marlene
The original is not as 'famous' as Marlene's version at least not anymore.
the original by Lale Andersson ist best!!
The best and the most widely known thought out the world, not just the west is sung by Lale Andersen
male singing this makes more sense !
i was thinking the same long time ago.
What? The song is written from the point of view of a soldier, why should it sang by a woman?

?
Why is this so relaxing?
Ikr !
better times
It's not relaxing if you can follow the lyrics...
Because it's a soldiers song about his waiting girlfriend/wife back home. It's all about longing and wishing for a loved one to be with you
👏👏👏👏👏. 👍
Balkarian language
This is Balkarian language, not kabardian(adyghe)

Gar nicht gut!
Warum?
@@ag2938 have you listened to the wehrmacht version?
