Hey Justin, I love your video and I am going to try to replicate this tonight. I tried my first peach cobbler recipe last night and it was a complete failure. It never set up in my 12" deep Lodge. This one with the flour on top looks more promising. I am one of the leaders for our Trail Life troop here in Norwalk, Ca and we strive to raise Godly men out of our children. We are getting ready to go on our first camping trip this weekend. I would love to be able to pull off your peach cobbler for our kids! Above all that, 1 John 5 11-12 is an amazing verse and is at the core of salvation! @DutchOvenCook 5 месяцев назад

@@HorsePenRanch No problem. The Cabela's ovens are actually made by Camp Chef, but with the Cabela's name on them. That thermometer slot works great for the remote thermometers that you can put the probe in the meat, and then walk around with a remote to let you know the progress of your meat dishes. I've been cooking for over 50 years in Dutch ovens, and we have about 100+ ovens, and a 1894 Newton Chuckwagon that we do catering, competitions, educational cooks.
