    Hey sean glad to see u back talking sports here on youtube ive always enjoyed your takes amyways im a huge michigan fan and couldnt agree more with your take on our qb situation and to be honest i see 7-5 as their ceiling this year and that shouldnt be i take alot of crap and im called a hater mostly by my fellow wolverine fans simply cause i call it as i see it and being an over the road truck driver ive decided to stay on the road more this season …as far as lions go im a wait 4 games and evaluate after a sample size but that being said it was the type of loss that gave them their nickname and it cannot become a trend to be honest they havebt played well really since the 1st half of championship game so altho ill give them the benefit of the doubt u dont want to start 1-3 which is a possibility unless they get that offense back to where it should be with the talent they have

    Wake up guys and learn the game! Thats the way the game is played today. The Tigers are completely going nowhere for a long time, obviously. You trade Skubal for prospects to start building around. And trade Subal for an "unknown"? The O's have more known prospects than your MLB team has known players. Get over it, Detroit sucks, in every sport!!!!

  • @seanonsports7362
    @seanonsports7362 2 месяца назад

    David, Look at what you said. “Probably” “if” and of course the time honored “or gets injured” is that competent? Let’s deal with what we know: they have an ace in what has been a never ending rebuild. The doing it the right way crap had not worked here. Look at all the can’t miss guys that missed the past 8 years. Draft picks, pieces in trades etc. please don’t talk about “competent” when your starting point is probably, if and or. You are proving my point, I’ll stick with knowns. Analytically? Please

    • @davidkaner5000
      @davidkaner5000 2 месяца назад

      @@seanonsports7362 The facts are clear with TJ surgery that there’s a 60% chance of haven another arm surgery which he had already so now you are taking about a 27 yr old in his career yr on a team missing 4 starting MLB position players. After Jung, there’s no positional player other than Tork who might never make it back. Add on his value now & Boras, it’s a no brainer. If Harris does what believe him & his high ranking evaluators can determine to be a deal that makes next year better & sets them up for 5-7 yrs, he has to do it! I think this unique situation of top playoff bound teams down 2 starters & the Tigers have 2 of the best 3, is all in Harris’s favor. The leverage Harris has now is better than any GM could ask for. It’s the total opposite of EROD’s situation!

  • @davidkaner5000
    @davidkaner5000 2 месяца назад

    I can agree that you both haven’t really thought about it analytically but definitely emotionally. Facts: Boras isn’t extending him, Skubal 2 major arm surgeries b4 age 28, career yr probably not duplicated, if he falls off a tad or gets injured, his value drops immensely,once in a career opportunity to shape the Tigers future similar to Nats return for Soto, 5 teams could be vying for services, Tigers have 2 of the 3 best arms potentially available! Skubal has more value to this team & organization if they get back Holiday, Mayo, McDermott & Beavers! Think about all the risks & rewards & then do a competent show!

    • @seanonsports7362
      @seanonsports7362 2 месяца назад

      “Once in a career opportunity” Ya know, like the return on JV. Or JD. Or Nick. Haven’t we seen risks and no rewards enough?

I will also the team showed these lapses throughout the year, so I was not surprised. If anything I was surprised they were as close as they got. Players like Larkin, Raymond, Kane carried them.
