I’m a local, so nice to see you guys visiting my island. Had it been a local trying to take a tour of the hotel, we would have been kicked out. Lucky you guys were tourists and were able to roam these hotels so easily

I’m pretty sure you weren’t harassed by anyone to buy their product... st lucians see that you’re a tourist and offer you deals and try to sell you local stuff.... and you guys probably drove into communities that you dont know and some guy said he’ll give you ganja not “GANJI” and I’d advice against anyone just driving around any island you dont know. Seem to complain a lot to me ... ohh no traffic, the locals are pushy nob off.

Three suggestions for your next video: 1) less audio on your voice. Just whisper into a pillow. 2) more backlighting. I could totally make out your face in some shots. 3) less energy. I was trying to sleep, and yes, I am a light sleeper, but if you could have less energy, I might be able to sleep through your videos. Thanks.

@2:50 stop complaining about the gutters because 2 things will happen. 1. You WILL fall in one like I did. 2. When you see how much rain falls in the Caribbean, you'll see those tires fill to the top with fast running water. The amount of rain the get makes those gutters a necessity. It would be nice if they covered them with a grate but then they would eventually clog with debris and may need cleaning more often than they have the resources for.

We just got back from St Lucia, had a full week in Soufriere, never any problem with local people who were all generally polite and friendly. Sure we met a few ppl who were selling stuff, they´re just trying to scratch a living though. After a couple of days they recognised us and would just say hi. Never had any hassle from anyone, apart from one guy who was a bit sketchy, but then a taxi driver stopped to warn me not to deal with him. Seemed fair enough. Looks like you were there out of season as there were very few people around. Also, the best time to go to Ladera is around sunset, as it´s even more spectacular. Shirt collar required, and the car park is pretty hard to miss as it´s huge. There are more budget friendly options down in soufriere town itself.

Ac in schools in the Caribbean is unheard of only might see ac in universities (nursery school 3-5, primary school 5-11, secondary school 11- 16 (can opt to go to 6th form for advanced level studies, straight to university for preliminary studies , community college or polytechnic vocational studies for associate degree /tech voc certifs from 16-19 then can go to go into workforce or head to university from 16 or 19 years or do a combination of work and attend university length of bachelors depend on course choice... There is no hard and fast rule for appropriate time to start or attend universities, it's up to the person ) poor is relative you may mean poor in material things, but rich in other things for eg health etc remember the Caribbean leans more to nature side of things, so might be less materialistic and may appear "poor" and more slow pace, a way to let loose, relax, ground yourself and get back to nature a bit, away from the money and material driven, capitalistic, fast pace, rat race outside world......although I believe there is nothing totally wrong with that side either, a balance of both is a perfect combination .......

You are a boss for driving the roads of st Lucia its a volcanic island so super hilly and steep terrain same in st Vincent, Grenada and most the other volcanic islands ...test your driving skills, I'm from barbados we are rather flat because the island is not volcanic but limestone based
