Remember season 1 episode 1. Where Buck is a self-diagnoses sex addict who loves the ladies and was fired because of that. So, in 7 seasons, he went from having 7 girlfriends or lovers, then wakes up one day and decides he likes guys...IF this 28 year old sex addict was always bi, he would have been doing bi stuff for the 7 years. 911 has some strange story lines in the past, they have had some episodes that almost lost my interest in the show but this latest move is purely Woke Malarkey. If Chim can suffer so much and get viral encephalitis then Buck should find out his new medications side effect is drug-induced homosexuality (its a thing) The fd needs a new character on the ambulance. My suggestion is Cast Bill Sarsgaard as a physician and he can play a 2024 interpretation of Dr. Frank-N-Furter. Then To cap it off, the crew responds to a pharmaceutical company fire, the drug they were working on called "I'sowoque" that effects the DNA from Europeans to darken their skin. That would make you the coolest most inclusive show in Wokeywood.

Very good! Because there are other stories to be told in same sex relationship other than the same old tropes and they already have been telling interesting nuanced stories through two same sex couples on the show. The character named Hen and the ex-husband of Angela Bassett character. Oliver has mentioned this several times in interviews; which makes the infatuation and backlash against his character's sexuality and relationship with Tommy both ridiculous & truth telling. Those who are obsessive, overexcited, emotionally, psychologically; and those who have angry feelings towards the direction of Buck's character are two sides of the same coin.

"I wanna tell a happy story" after reading a recent interview with Kenneth where Tim (the show runner) basically came out and said he thinks things have to go wrong in this format of TV, I'm curious how long Buck and Tommy can stay happy for. I think the biggest question is does their relationship last into Season 8? Because so far they haven't really had a chance to actually romance each other and learn more about each other.

So hope it goes that way!!! Keep the hate away!!

I like this concept! I think everyone needs to move on from the “you’re gay/bi? It’s a sin! I raised you better than that” storylines. Those have been told to death and they probably have a certain effect on society. If we move on to it being a normal thing, perhaps we can all get away from that garbage thinking.

I really, REALLY hope that the running gag as people find out about Buck and Tommy is “Tommy’s gay?” But no one questions Bucks bisexuality LMAO

For the outsider, shifts in sexual preference (or, acknowledgements) can be difficult to understand, and uncomfortable to witness, but they happen. Every week I have coffee with a bunch of men who are longtime friends. Former military, firefighters, educators, school bus drivers, a corporate jet pilot, city employees, we are a mix of all kinds. Several men, who are parents of now adult children, have come out after years of refusing to acknowledge being gay. In some cases, this has led to divorce and a marriage to a same-sex partner, while others remain married to women. As societal norms change, I expect to see more of these changes.

Another show gone down south for me, only to please 1%.

The way he talks about Buck's journey and his privilege and joy in getting to be a part of that journey is soooooo damn refreshing and much needed in the industry. Bravo to Oliver and the writing team. Excited to continue to witness it.

The haters not only missed the point of the storyline so far, but haven't watched the show at all. The first scene in the very 1st episode has Athena's husband coming out to her as gay. It's always been there.
