Here you can definitely see that Abby put down the girls so much and made them lose all their confidence. Also Abby wasn’t a good choreographer she was but she just everything was so easy if the girls have more complex choreography like some of these other dances and they really started working on their technique because some of these girls were far better than Maddie in the video. They really would’ve been good dances.

I don’t know why soooo many dance schools don’t emphasize ballet as the foundation and require it. My sister’s a professional contemporary dancer but she didn’t start contemporary until like age 12. She did primarily classical ballet from age 2 to 18. I heard on Dance Moms that the kids got 1 day a week of ballet. It should be the opposite - 5 days a week of ballet and 1 day a week of jazz/contemporary/tap/acro/etc. If they have a strong ballet foundation, everything else comes so much easier and faster and doesn’t require hours and hours of practice

I don’t like the argument for the last dance. Personally I don’t have a problem with the last dance and the girls knew what they were doing and owned it I think the fandom just still thinks they are those 8 and 9 years olds doing electricity. Plus the show was not targeted to little kids and was more targeted to a teen and an overall older audience. Plus is you want to argue that little kids are watching them you should also include how they watched whatcg (literally kids dying) amber alert (child abduction and death) is there still hope (schizophrenia, drug use and overdose, anorexia, “lady of the night” gang member and they all die) disappear (I believe being suicidal?) The cult, the rapture, fantastic (if they still saw it when it aired) suicide hotline, etc. obviously some of these dances aren’t necessarily bad or violent topics but they aren’t topics that should be exposed to little kids or at the very least should be discussed with a parent. But I doubt the person had a problem with these dances. TLDR: There we’re other dances that would be inappropriate for little kids, the the commentor probably doesn’t have a problem with.

Zack was such an amazing underrated dancer!!! His performance in Dios Las Muertos was STUNNING!! I couldn’t take my eyes off him I may have missed this explanation, but why didn’t you use Brooke, Chloe, Nia, or Paige?? Just curious

Ellie was the best dancer on the show, imo. Her technique, flexibility, and performance was all unparalleled. Brady is not boring!! Swan song and PTSD are both amazing. And he was the perfect lead for some of the groups ex King of Queens Just an illusion is one of the best season 5 solos and Kendell killed it!! Maddie was not the best dancer on the team. She was amazing, but they all were. Nias technique in earlier seasons was bad. It clicked for her in season 4 and she became a stronger fluid dancer. I really enjoyed her from 4 on. Her earlier solos were adorable but not competitive for her age Abby did not make the girls famous. She did her best to hold some of them back. Their talent, personality, work ethic made them famous You can is definitely better than Be Anything. Maddie just had an off day. No hate… it happens to everybody Savannah is an incredible dancer. She deserves the love

I adore Just an Illusion and I agree it’s kendell’s best solo. For Paige, GUGLGT never gets talked about but her technique wasn’t bad and she had enough energy to pull it off. For My Brother was so beautiful and Areana’s turns were stunning!! Just Be was so beautiful. The reunion version was even better. Home Again was basically another Maddie solo. It was pretty, but not really a group dance. Just another number is one of my fav season 4 groups. Love it!! Good help is hard to find was awesome!!! All of them stood out beautifully

I adore Wishbone!! My favorite duet from the show. I thought Kendell did really well in Push and Pull. She didn’t seem to struggle with the steps and her technique was beautiful!! She really surprised me in that one. In the Odd Couple Kendell was the only one with an acting part. Brynns character was pretty much just being there. I love this video and haven’t seen this topic yet. So happy for something different

DLLD does not get enough attention. Lillies feet in that solo❤❤❤❤ My favorite underrated Chloe solo is Keep Burning and Haunted. Haunted had intricate choreography and the acting was superb!! I agree about They Don’t Want My Kind. She had an off day and I really think Jade plus the theme of the dance really got to her that week I dislike You Go Go Girl so much because it was SO beneath season 5 Maddie. She could have easily done that one in season 1. For Nia, it would be Underdog and Damsel in Distress. Damsel was beneath Nia’s skill level, but her performance value was unmatched Groups I think go underrated would be The Huntress, Money is the root of all evil, and alouette

I watched this 2 years ago and I think I love it even more now!! I can’t imagine the time and work that went into this. I needed to see with my own eyes how Disappear lost. That girl was AMAZING!!!
