Hack for opening clasp on Forstner Komfit steel bracelet (NASA Speedmaster bracelet).

These Forstner Komfit bracelets can be tricky to open. Here's my tip - press at bottom of clasp, push tab down with fingernail.
Dear Sir. Thank you so much for sharing your expertise and experience with us, hobbyists, and precision mechanics enthusiasts.
I love the look of this watch, but i dont know who copy who? Casio with his blue or white mkdel who is similar or milano? But we dont care, both are great, only regret that milano dont have an automatic model...but cool watch
Hands down, the greatest tool in the history of watch horology for removing stubborn pop off case backs! Aliexpress has them too, though not sure if they have the same quality as Seiko!

Will this fit well on my 7" wrist?
Yes, it fits my 7.5 inch wrist very well
no lume?
Battery or
Yes, battery/quartz
Amazing i just purchased 😊
There is an even easier way, just slide your fingernail under the pull tab and lift it up a bit. It will pop off by itself. Putting it on is more troublesome to me
Looks great!
This looks like a great watch to wear. Would get a lot of interest around it
Looks like a Royal oak
Nice watch. It should be a crime to wear a watch behind your wrist though.
Very cool!
that was cute for everyday use :)
Chinese made British brand.
I have one on a Bulova Lunar Pilot. It looks and feel super. Thanks for the Pro-Tip!
Do you have the 'bead blasted' Lunar or 'polished'? Did you go with straight end link of horned?
@@BanksSteven I've got the polished blue panda. I went with the wide horned one and it's perfect
Hi what model is this
Thank you! Great tip
Excellent! Thx a lot.
You wind it into the notch and then use the blue tab on top and pull it towards you to pop it opened . Going around the case as you have suggested will ruin the case
I’d think it’d be much bigger being they had to see the dial in pitch dark as they landed. God bless those brave young men who were part of the Pathfinders.
I've never seen a tool like this. Makes sense though. Thanks
Thanks for showing this, I think you're the only one that's not a paid promotion.
By that time... it's still working?
Please turn up the sound everything set to max volume still can't hear what's he saying in video.
glad i saw this before ordering one, seems like a shit design on the clasp and it just looks skinny and cheap thanks for this
Definitely not cheap at all. Very well made. Just kinda tricky
It's a really great design actually. The spring bars will be by far the weakest link in the bracelet. I've worn this on my 3861 Speedmaster as well as the provided Omega bracelet and a handful of NATOs and I keep going back to this one.
Great design I have original 1964 Jacoby Bender Champion versions and these steel mesh bracelets still work flawlessly !
Thanks. I was thinking about getting one of these, but it seems like the second hand is slightly misaligned...that is, it doesn't exactly hit the minute marks on the dial, and that is one of my huge pet peeves with quartz watches.
The second hand on mine is dead on. Plus I've had for about three months now and it's lost about a half a second versus the clock on my phone.
@Pol C. Do you mean does it tick loudly? My hearing isn't the greatest so I really can't hear it unless it's right up against my ear so I really don't know.
Just picked up one of these from Aliexpress, love it, nice and light and comfortable.
Thanks Eric. Aprreciate it!
How you liking it so far? Considering one
At first, I thought it was too small for my fat fingers, but once you get the hang of flicking it, it's amazing. Incredibly well built, and best ergos of all my knives. The lockup is so solid, and action super smooth.
Hi - what size is your wrist and which length of strap did you go for?
I have a 7 7/8 inch wrist. I went for the large size.
@@smoothwinder great thanks 👍👍
Forstner calls it the "Original"
@@smoothwinder yes I also decided to go with that length. It's dispatched and on its way - v exciting!
@@davidattrill1751 Great, I think you'll like it -- very comfortable and smooth feeling on the wrist.
Is this a wide ou normal width?
The band is 18mm, but the end piece is adjustable from 22mm-18mm
