Yo ! My last video did so well, thanks so much for that. I figured I'd do a follow up for anyone who took inspiration and built the shaddoll deck. Yo! Been playing master duel the past few days and man is it fun. Managed to hit platinum one with Shaddolls. Here's the profile and a my thoughts on the deck and some replays. Hope it helps! Have you made any changes since the new ban list update?
Havent played since 2007 and my friend suggested i play invoked shaddoll, loving it so far. Your videos are so helpful for noobs like me haha!

@@Ubacchi yeah ima make a video when i have time. dpe is pretty annoying when everyone has him pretty much. kinda comes down to whoever draws called by the grave a lot of the time. sadge.

Dont know if you still answer to comments but I see a lot of people playing 3/4 shaddolls in their deck without El Shaddoll fusion, whats your opinion on that ?
That's the more common way to play the deck, it's how its played in the actual TCG. In master duels format though I prefer having the shaddolls in my hand having the option for an el shaddoll fusion play either for OTK or playing on opponents turn.
@@kanashiygo5758 I see, i've been learning about this deck recently and was trying to figure out which way I should go with for the shaddoll part, I can totally see why fusing during the opponents turn is great. Does having more shaddolls affect the consistency of the deck in your opinion and experience ?
@@rediowz_8916 in the build im using here i didn't really have any issues with the extra dolls clogging hands. it's a very consistent deck, you'll occasionally brick but you can mitigate it enough to stay alive usually by just setting a shaddoll and having hand traps etc. its really nice having el shaddoll fusion to play around maxx c as well. this list has versatility in mind more than anything.

Yes it definitely is. I’d say it’s one of the best decks available to play on master duel currently. Just takes a bit more thinking than some of the other decks.

Finally someone that actually takes time to explain the deck and their decisions, every guide for this deck I find they're talking a mile a minute I can't keep up and they don't really explain anything, mostly just listing cards. Thank you

That last replay had a few cards not in your explanation, like forbidden chalice and crossout designator. Just an earlier version of the deck?
@@jumpysniper yeah check out one of my next videos it has the most up to date list. I was kinda experimenting with different cards because the meta was still changing a lot because the game was new.

Both are great cards to use in the deck. Foolish isn’t necessary, but if you’re using in place of another card that you might not have, I’d say go for it. thx for checking out the vid !

That’s a great idea actually I’ll definitely leave it up for y’all on the next commentary. Also I do have 2 replay commentaries up on the channel right now with Shaddolls. Hope they can help ya out some !
Starving venom is very good in Invoked-Witchcrafters. Once I have Silent Magican and Madame Verre on the field with Left/Right hand spells, I'll activate Witchcrafter Confusion to fusion Haine and Aliester for Starving Venom after I get Invocation. After Venom is on the field, I activate Ruins of the Divine Dragon Lords. It is the ultimate defense. Right hand negate and destroy spells, Silent magician negates the activation of spells and Left hand negates and destroy traps. RDDL negate's special summon monsters's effect for one turn. Once my opponent special summon a juicy monster, Their effects are negated for the turn and then i copy it from venom. So if you fusion summon Blue Eyes Alternative Ultimate dragon, RDDL negates it. I copy the effect with venom and destroy 3 monsters on the field. You would need to spend 2 spells to resolve

3:45 how did maximus only send one? how come you weren't able to send titanklad (if you had one)
It sent two, I think it’s just too fast to tell haha. Also I don’t play titanklad, it’s not super good in this version of the deck. There are better extra deck options. The dogmatika are mainly just in the deck as extenders and can be disruptions if necessary.
I try to learn but not to remember the combo that much and your Video help me a lot. We need more of this !!

@@arminarlert1953 super poly is super good. Also Bait out negations depending on your hand. Drytron is a pretty easy match up. just have to play really smart. I’ll try and play and see if I can make a video against drytron sometime. Never had an issue with them.

Eldlich helped to reach plat 5 but I switched to shaddoll invoked cos I like its playstyle and combo. I watching lots of vids abt shaddoll to learn.
shaddoll can easily take ya to the top. They have an answer for almost anything ! Hope my vids helped at least a little !

Great video, never really played seriously even in duel links but I didn't play it as much either way but this deck got me invested into invoker decks in general and now I see myself climbing up the ladder slowly. Love the deck and I am trying it out myself and it just feels and plays way better than my shiranui deck. Got a new sub and looking forward to more content from you. Keep up the good work!

Returning old school player here. Swapped to Shaddoll after my Blue Eyes deck just bricks (I'm in Gold now) Love your content you seem to really know your stuff. My only problem I can't hear you over the ingame audio haha! Looking forward to more content.

Why do people play the salamangreat link instead of just the light spellcaster link if you need more extra deck space?
having the extra fire material in grave for purgatrio or to summon maximus comes up quite often. you can play artemis if you'd like to free up some more space though!
@@kanashiygo5758 purgatory doesn’t seem worth but Maximus on the other hand makes sense. There have been many times I couldn’t bring out Maximus cuz I had nothing left in the grave. Seems a low priority for ur budget though, but makes sense for optimal build I suppose.

Could the rainbow Neos package go with this deck? I know in the Tcg it worked with mekk knight invoked. Also do you always choose to go second with this deck?
Yes I always chose to go second. Also, I am not super familiar with that package, I play the TCG normally and I don't think that's used very often over here. But looking at the cards youd need, I think it would definitely be possible to get that into the deck in master duel format.

I was usually interested in shaddol, but I felt a lot of difficulties. Your video helped me a lot. Even if there is no explanation in your video, I want to learn with many videos. Also, if it's not rude to watch a video of losing by making a mistake, I'd like to watch it together.

How do you feel about droplets in the deck?
Droplets is great ! I ran chalice bc cheaper but droplets is always fantastic especially in a deck that likes to go second :)

@@kanashiygo5758 I get it. But I really hate going second and waiting for my really slow opponents to finish=)). I just want to go first, establish my board and pass. Also most of the times my hands are 3 shaddolls and 2 dogmatika monsters, or fleurdelis, 2 ash, invocation and harpie feather duster.
@@YGOHermit I feel you no worries. I view the game differently than most people I think. I enjoy having boards to attempt to pick apart like a puzzle rather than setting up boards. :)
@@kanashiygo5758 That's quite interesting. I will consider your going second advice because I tried everything except that. But cant help but feel envious of decks that have space to run half of their decks of hand traps like tribrigade and still have insane consistency. I play dolls since 2014 and will probably never switch completely to another archtype. But right now I think InvokedDogmatika is better without the dolls. Way more consistent, way more space. This is the inheret weakness of fusion decks, you have to run a ton of fusion spells will many times suffer from drawing sometimes only one line of play that can get Ash'd. Deck is insanely fun and complex, but that's only if you actually get to play.
EDIT: I finished the video. You did pause a few times along the way. I'll leave this here if it sparks any ideas anyway. I watched your deck build video. I'm a returning legacy player, so I've had to do A LOT of learning over the last week (anything past rituals were new to me!). My only issue with this video is it can be a bit difficult to hear you over the sound effects of the game, more so to process some of the information as a play goes on as well. Maybe either raise your volume up, or lower the game's. Which leads to my other suggestion... Although maybe a lot more effort will be required in editing and production, it may be good practice to take advantage of pausing your replays from time to time while breaking down certain scenarios as you talk about them, or as you explain movement-heavy turns. It would be good to mention how "Oh, so right about here is a good time to do A-B-C because of X-Y-Z" and then continue to play the replay, showcasing your advice in action. At the least, perhaps you could have a script with bullet notes to go off of for a replay you're about to showcase for smooth and easy to digest breakdowns, I think it will help your commentary sound well thought out and versed, allowing you to make informed statements and have meaningful exposition before and after a situation occurs, further reinforcing whatever thoughts you're sharing and engaging your viewers more. Just some friendly critique. Insight from more experienced players is always great for returning or "new" players like myself. Thanks for your effort thus far. I love the deck and how it feels to play.
I totally agree with you. I thought about re-uploading the video because I am not sure what happened with my audio this time. In my headphones while editing the video it all sounded fine. Really sorry about that! As for the pauses, I will definitely try and pause the replay more going forward. This is my first time trying commentating over replays, and I tend to drag on for a while when I open my mouth so I was trying to keep it brief. But you're totally right and I thank you for the feedback! (In all honesty I rushed this video too much, I don't have much free time so I have to just make content whenever I can squeeze in the time). Some plays you have Chalice but its no in your main deck. Is it good to run 3 chalice?
Chalice worked great for me for a while. I'd say run 2, 3 may be overkill. I started facing so many eldlich decks when i hit like plat 2-3 that i started opting to run more spell/trap removal. I'm currently using 2 copies of cosmic cyclone, i replaced a dragon and lightning storm with them.
I notice in your gameplay video you're playing differends cards, for instance sometimes 2 lightning storm or even forbidden chalice / designator.... so..the decklist you present is the summary version of what is the best ? or other things.
It’s just a generalization. It’s what I was using at the very end when I hit platinum 1. I recommended taking notice of the decks you’re going against most and building your deck around them at times if you get stuck at a certain rank. Any of those cards you saw me using in the duels are great to run in the deck.
That heroes player responding to Shaddoll Fusion with frigging Mask Change... oh man. Dude really just handed you +2 in card advantage on a silver platter. Really good replays though, I was particularly interested in seeing how you made use of TTT as the majority of SHID decklists out there seem to instead use either Forbidden Droplet or Infinite Impermenance.
I have seen the WILDEST plays on master duel, it’s actually just the Wild West on there lmao. And that’s precisely why I chose to use TTT, nobody really playing with it in mind and also it’s just so damn efficient at letting you play into maxx c a bit while also providing so much utility and options from one card. Great deck profile but why no verta anaconda?
Extra deck space. Also dogmatika engine doesn’t play super well with that sometimes. It’s perfectly fine to squeeze in though. haven’t felt the need for it though. Would rather have all the stuff in my extra deck atm. This may change when they add Phoenix enforcer.
