Riding Bicycle in Snow
Просмотров 18110 лет назад
Hi everyone, The first snow this season and since I got a new road bike in summer, I wanted to test it in snow just for fun and I took a video with my phone. I realized that this is very bad for the road bike itself so please don't try this unless you modified your road bike properly. I installed winter tires and fenders now so I can ride.

Riding My bike in Water

After a thunderstorm, a part of the biking trail in the forest was flooded.
What's the point filming slow moving traffic?
welcome to beijing
Any manly men in North America who drive big trucks and think they're the best drivers in the world need to see how it's really done in Beijing. The alpha male in America wil crumble so fast there.
kind of beats the purpose of a bus lane if you drive in it eh
Anyway brilliant content👍
Tang no sound?
I ❤️China
i grew up in Beijing, my home is on the left of 12:00...that place is called Fuxingmen Street :D ..... now i live in Texas....which is totally different...
驾驶风格与14年911相比明显熟练很多!!
视频中驾驶员驾车心态不错,不急不躁,值得学习
Haha! I was on those same roads in Beijing for 5 years and now drive a Nissan Quest in the USA.
In China they used to ride bikes a lot, wasn't that better for the environment and health? Sometimes what seems like progress is not really progress. A number of cities around the world are turning to more bicycle use.
Haha! I agree! Bikes are much more environmentally friendly than those new cars. The city now is kinda getting into ebikes cuz they cover more distances and are faster than both driving or the subway. I even go out on my ebike and leave my car in the garage now in Beijing
i use a bike aswell, but i wouldnt sell my car... because i like to go out of the citie alot...
I've noticed that not many people use their indicators when changing lanes in China, why is this?
Two main reasons: 1. Although it is required in the laws of China to use signals when changing lanes, it is just not a very common practice. People are used to other people changing lanes without signals. 2. When some people see you signal to change into their lane and they don't want to cut them off, they will step on the gas and not let you get in the lane you want. This is especially common in rush hour traffic. 3. In China, the first car has the right of way, unlike America where the car in the lane has the right of way, which makes turn signals for lane change not very necessary.
Fair enough, although I'm not really worried with how they drive in America, it's when Chinese people start driving here in Australia that concerns me, their lack of knowledge and driving style causes alot of accidents.
I live in this university town (aka lot of Chinese) in the US for 10 years and have seen tons of car accidents (we are in the south), not a single one had Asians involved. I don't Know anything about Australia so i asked Dr. google, the result is funny. Here we go, ========================= Researchers at the University of Sydney reported in 2010 that among drivers aged 25 and younger, the crash risk of Asian-born drivers is actually about half that of Australian-born drivers. Lest readers immediately lampoon the native-born Australians for being too liberal with the Foster’s, these results were replicated in a 2011 Canadian study, where researchers found that recent immigrants (largely from China and India) were 40 to 50 percent less likely than long-term residents to be involved in a crash. --------------------------- Source www.washingtoncitypaper.com/columns/straight-dope/article/13046281/are-people-of-some-races-worse-drivers-than-others-statistically
Interesting! This is a good report that shows that driving behaviors or any crime and habits should not be associated with certain races and no certain problems can be addressed to single races or groups. We live in a multicultural society where we should learn to solve problems together and be responsible together. Unfortunately, where I live in Toronto, Canada, there is still a little bit of myth that Chinese drivers cause accidents. On RUclips, you can still find many videos which make fun of drivers in Russia through compilations of car accidents...
matt because drivers in oz are bunch of noobs
looks like jakarta...
nope
Lots of developing countries look the same tbh
The only exeption is that i've never seen cycling lane that large. Even in holland where there's more than one bike per habitant.
TheResi42 Goes to show how many people there is in China, cars per capita is low compared to developed countries, yet there's traffic jams that last days, so many fucking people man it's hard to imagine.
what is the population of Beijing?
+Arthome Around 21,000,000
Vincent Tang I see, I just wondering why there are so many vesicles on the road in the city urban. Thank you for your information.
Vincent Tang holy shit

As soon as the pollution problems was solved.China will became a beautiful country in no time !
+苏哲 Everyone is waiting for that moment, but hopefully it can happen by the next decade... Now although electric cars are encouraged by the government by offering free license plates, the main cause for smog is still the heavy industries around the city (outside the 6th ring)...
who knows when that will happen though...
Why does BJ still look like North Korea? lol Shanghai is much fancy..
+Wang Tao you see because there is a height limit for the buildings in Beijing like Washington and London.
You're only seeing a very small part of Beijing.
In Beijing, the buildings have been limited inside of 3rd ring road because they don’t want hurt the old buildings.
Background music would make it better.
你现在在哪里?
北京的道路真是太堵了。
+wu xiansheng How many cars are there now? Last time I checked it was 5 millions, and that was like 10 years ago.
+Mingwei Zhang more than 7000000 cars. 200000 do not have Beijing license plates. Half the population lives outside the 5th ring road, which means that every morning 10000000 people enter the city. All of these number explain why the traffic is bad.

Hi Vincent! How did you get so many views on this??
Wooooow amazing!
beijing big city
Can I ask you why the buildings on the side looks angular?
Because it is recorded on a 170 degrees angle dashcam.
Thanks for the video! I really love China, and I like these kind of videos. I have seen some videos about Shanghai, and I can tell there is a difference between the 2 cities. Beijing seems to be better organized, and there are more green places. I am waiting for another long video, and please do not remove the sound.
Sorry I turned off sound recording on the dashcam when recording this video. I also have a video of me riding my bike in Beijing and a video of driving in Shanghai. This is the video of me riding my bike in Beijing Riding Bike In Beijing
Vincenzo Tang OK. I will check them out.
Vincenzo Tang I didn't find the video which was taken on Shanghai.
Do you have the sheet music?
