Did you have ARP head studs in this thing? Whats the most boost you ran through it?
Stock head bolts. Ran up to 32 psi
@@BDidz11 Appreciate the reply my guy. Is this thing still around? If it died what failed? Iv ordered stock head bolts over the ARP ones. Iv re-surfaced the heads and the block so hopefully thats enough. Im not looking to put anymore than 30psi through it.
@@anthonycraig-pw9oh parted the build out/sold the car like a year ago. First block cracked, second and third engines melted pistons from pushing the turbo well outside of its efficiency range.

Hey there, do you have anything else done to the exhaust? I just put in catless DP's 2.5in but the rest of the car from the middle to the back is still 2.25in. I really want the tone your car has for mine.

Parted it out after buying an RS3. Still have a tial 605 S4 for weekend fun. Will build another stk car some day though.
@@BDidz11 gotcha, building a stk s4 rn. Snapped a rod and windowed the block on the first round. Building a motor and going another round. How do you like the 605s, I've always heard mixed reviews on those!
@@kylesienknecht7137 No complaints so far. The car rarely gets driven so theres only a few thousand miles on the setup. Power is great at 30psi on E85.

Surprised how well the rs6 car held its own....well until you hit 4th gear.
Its a fast car for sure! The no lift shift into 4th is was really made the difference...
