June 16, 2024, Part 1: Going Home from Redmond, OR 4K
This is Day 1, Part 1 of my trip home from Redmond, OR, for the BMW MOA Rally. After a great Rally and getting to see some friends and making new ones, I head into northern California to visit the grave of a Soldier that I took care of in Afghanistan who didn't make it home. There will be more about this in the following video.
The sound isn't as good as in my recent video, as this was filmed before I got an audio recorder. I ended up riding my bike almost 6k miles during this trip, and I was able to film the entire journey. I plan to post a video weekly for several weeks. I don't know how many videos will be, but it will likely be about 7. Day 2 was almost 1200 miles from Reno, NV, to Neb...

Thanks. Riding is my therapy. I did three tours in Iraq and Afghanistan and three years in the military's Burn Unit in San Antonio, TX. Riding is therapeutic for me. This last weekend, I went to Florida and saw more people that I knew who are no longer with us.

It's a 2024 BMW K1600B Grand America, which is entirely stock. I'm working on getting better-recorded sound from the bike and removing much wind noise.

Hi! Was this video in particular shot on the Vixia R40? It is in 4K and afaik this camera only allows for 1080p. Was it upscaled to 4K?

That took me another 3 months, and the fuel pump went out. I shot the video of changing the fuel pump. I'll put that out with a picture of the rotors on the bike.
