Great looking ute and specs. I've ordered one after cancelling my Ranger Platinum order. I really hope the build quality is up there and BYD backs up owners with support, warranty and SOFTWARE UPDATES!!!! If the product is great I'll happily sing it's praises, likewise, if product, support or SOFTWARE UPDATES are poor I'll hammer BYD to everyone i meet.

I just finished watching Growing House it is really good. I love he shares his passion and building a new home from scratch with amazing things all Australians need for their home. You do learn a lot what you can have...I also didn't know he had two kids they are adorable his partner is lovely she's perfect for him. Jamie is down to earth I love his laugh...looking forward to the next episode...

Great ute. Great tech and specs. Price is pretty reasonable. Hopefully there is no servicing rip off like every ICE vehicle has. I nearly stopped watching this when I saw the welcome to country nonsense, thankfully you’ve edited out most of it. FYI BYD, don’t fall for the aboriginal myths and lies, it isn’t their country to welcome and their multi thousands of years existence is completely fabricated as are the welcome to country and dot paintings which were created out of thin air in the 70’s by an actor, an activist milking the system and a French artist teaching bored aboriginals art. Australia is owned and proudly lived in by Australians. Good luck BYD looks like a good car.

They're good at making cars, not so good at presentations in English. I used to work in a Honda factory in Japan, most of them were like that too. Always too busy to come to English class. 😅 But FMD could they make motorbikes!

Great price for an awesome looking ute... But the launch event sucked - The first presenter didn't even speak English and was shouting at the mic, they had a terrible translator, tech issues galore, oh and the website's been down for 45 minutes now... What a joke.

Disappointing an Australian launch isn't presented by English-speaking local staff. A visiting dignitary could have been given the opening welcome, then handed over to a local manager. Local support is a critical consideration for car buyers. Announcement is ruined by translation delay and very thick accents.

Terrible, website that doesn’t work, translators that are hard to understand, and broken promises.

I'm getting a bit bored of the old school reviewers always comparing it to a Ranger. Specs are so different. They are both utes, thats all. If it's just a fun toy ute just like a raptor, it will sell. $30k less expensive and if the ironman accessories can be reasonably priced and available at launch, it's a winner. Great vehicles, my performance seal is a weapon. A few more software updates to the drive line and I t will be unstoppable. Look forward to seeing more models come to Australia in time.

Love the car but was it really necessary to add “6” at the end of shark, the BYD Shark would’ve been a nice clean name on its own.
