We are Devin and Lacey Bell. We are a married couple living in Kentucky, and along with our daughter Ava, we travel down to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida as often as possible (which is usually once, twice, maybe more times a year!). We are annual passholders and Disney Vacation Club members with a home resort of Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Thank yall soooo much for doing a more in-depth focus on DinoLand!!! Weston was so excited about it for our upcoming trip, but now I’m not even sure what will be left, if anything, by the time we go 😭😭😭 I know it’s supposed to be done in phases, so I’m hoping most of it will still be there, but Disney moves fast!!! Just goes to show why I shouldn’t wait 25 years to go back to Disney World 😂 Thanks for another great vlog!!! We look forward to them every week (and Weston STILL tells everyone about Ava and the microphone, and how she’s the funniest girl in the world) ❤❤❤
We filmed this in July, thinking they would close the land immediately after D23. They're saying "starting in the fall" but you're right - who knows where they'll start! I hope you at least get to ride Dinosaur! We LOVE it. I will say, we took a 6-year-old friend of Ava's on it once, and she was slightly traumatized afterward. 🤣 Ava has always loved it though! Thank you so much, friend! We appreciate you AND Weston! 🥰

It’s always a good morning when I get to start my day with a new Disney vlog from yall! Me and my 4 year old son Weston have been watching ALL of them to get ready for our trip there in January. Hi! So I’m driving from Louisville to Disney next month. Is the drive hard? I’ve never drove that long and I’m the only one who can drive. Any tips? I’ve heard to leave around 10 pm to miss Atlanta morning traffic.
Hi! We make the drive 3x a year and rarely have issues. I can’t speak to doing the drive overnight, but we leave at 4am CST and usually get through Nashville, Chattanooga, and Atlanta without any hold ups. Our tips are to make the most of your stops (bathroom, eat, gas all in one go!), reduce your beverage intake to keep from having to use the bathroom, and pack your own snacks/lunch. Hope you have a nice trip!

Honestly no because you guys do a great job in the parks lol we only go usually on the weekends because of work so we go for a few hours in the morning before it gets hot and then head home.. but the staycation we bring our dog so we have to pack a few different things lol

Happy Birthday to Jambo Villas House, they SHOULD change the name to SIMBA Animal Kingdom Lodge Animal Kingdom Lodge is TOO obvious, Josh D'Armo The head of parks and resorts SHOULD change the name to SIMBA Animal Kingdom and Simba Animal Kingdom Lodge, they NEED a NEW MAKEOVER ,THEY SHOULD take down the elephant head and put up the LION head up because the LION is King of the beast and majestic royal animal, Protocol says when entering the zoo, you SHOULD see the King FIRST because you're entering his domain, they SHOULD put a statue of SIMBA IN the lobby, Blessings and HUGS! 👑💜

Unfortunately, we are not the best resource for that. We’d never pretend to know what could trigger a condition.

Oh no…now the Yeti cooler is on my wish list 😂 If Yeti coolers can keep items cold for a road trip to Florida in the summer, they will work for my Disneyland trips. Have a great time!

It is definitely pretty chilly! Between the 50s-60s. The ocean was WAY too cold to enjoy, but the points costs for December are hard to beat!
In the process right now of buying a OKW with an OCT use year from the DVC Resale Market. I’ve got my eye on an Animal Kingdom as well.

What is the least crowded week to go to a Disney World? Is there an accurate crowd prediction website you recommend?
Most of September and December 1-24 tend to be good for crowds! I don’t use a crowd calendar to pick which weeks to go, but we use one to determine which parks to go to on which days. I use the Undercover Tourist one for that.

It was a deluxe studio. ☺️
I dont pack near as much. I pack in carry ons. One for each member of my family. Then we each have a backpack. I guess Im sort of a minimalist. In the parks I use a fanny pack. I am this way because my Mom used to pack our family car with what my Dad used to joke was the, "entire house". Because Im the middle child it was my job to help load and unload the mini van.
We've learned that you just never know what kind of clothes you'll need for a winter trip in Florida! But minimalist is always best!
Also, most people probably don't take a Christmas tree and Christmas gifts with them on vacation, but that's just a special thing we do for our Christmas trips. :)
