It took some trial and error but 4am really seems to be the sweet spot for us! We’re usually excited and find it hard to sleep anyways! Catches up with you at bedtime though, lol.

We leave southern KY at 4am (CST). That gets us through the bigger cities at better times when they aren’t super backed up! I would recommend 4-5am EST!

As busy as it is, it’s by far the best stop for us on our way down. Restrooms are so clean, there are a million gas pumps, and a wide variety of food options for us to be able to eat whatever we’re in the mood for. I can see where it’d be overwhelming for some though!

Thank you, friend! We usually have such a great experience at that McD’s, but this time it didn’t hit! The next day, we went down to our quick-service and it was the same price and way better tasting!

We filmed this in July, thinking they would close the land immediately after D23. They're saying "starting in the fall" but you're right - who knows where they'll start! I hope you at least get to ride Dinosaur! We LOVE it. I will say, we took a 6-year-old friend of Ava's on it once, and she was slightly traumatized afterward. 🤣 Ava has always loved it though! Hi! We make the drive 3x a year and rarely have issues. I can’t speak to doing the drive overnight, but we leave at 4am CST and usually get through Nashville, Chattanooga, and Atlanta without any hold ups. Our tips are to make the most of your stops (bathroom, eat, gas all in one go!), reduce your beverage intake to keep from having to use the bathroom, and pack your own snacks/lunch. Hope you have a nice trip!

Honestly no because you guys do a great job in the parks lol we only go usually on the weekends because of work so we go for a few hours in the morning before it gets hot and then head home.. but the staycation we bring our dog so we have to pack a few different things lol
