planning on getting this with red edition for going to college (2.3 miles away and work 1.6 miles away) should be more then plenty for my use case

Regen is currently saving me from buying new brake pads😂
When you ride your bike to work where do you lock it up? What precautions do you take for safety? Did they let you take it inside asking because I recently got a job at Amazon.
Since I work at a building that has security I talk to them first to make sure my bike is all good. They let me take it inside for the first 5 days but the guy that owned the building told me to stop bringing it in, so I guys its a local thing you would have to talk to them about. After that I just left it out nearest to the building behind a break stand in the parking lot where cameras are just in case!
The odds of stumbling on this video and this comment thread lmao I’m from the KC area as well I’m in between getting a motor goat v3 or a x3 as well I currently have a wallke h6 it was my first e-bike but I’m ready to upgrade to something with more speed.
The x3 is pretty solid but if you want crazy upgrades that are already available Id recommend the Sting R, but the motor goat v3 does have pedals and you could get away with a lot more. Since we in KC they are pretty light on Ebikes that go real quick, but in my experience the cops out here dont really care as long as you arent being a crazy man on the streets

@@JahRides what upgrades are you talking about because chi batteries has a xxx battery and the ebmx controllers have xxx ones and there are sotion motors available as well. As far as power goes there’s definitely upgrades because the talaria boys channel did a full upgrade and made there bike push 90 miles an hour. For a price of course.🤣

For some cases yes! For neighborhood riding or off roading, not so much
The full miles should still be in the other menu. My has reset both times I reached 600 miles. Seems normal.

Yup, I have a sting r and these bikes are supposed to reset the trip at 1000km which is roughly 621 miles. If you go into the settings and go to the info section it will show you your overall mileage on the odometer!
@@kaze_plays-clashroyalepoke9426 I think it's done this way so the average speed has a chance to reset and be more accurate. Great bike that averages down to 20-25mph. Fully legal in my view.

In eco mode on trails or bike lanes you could get range well over 60km but in sport mode keeping up with traffic itll drop you down to half that.

@@papap.8006 Ebikes dont always come with turn signals sadly, so upgrades can turn the bike into a street legal monster! I plan on getting mine registered as a moped once I add signals to it👍

How are the stock breaks for wheelies?
The stock brakes haven't gotten me injured, its more of a user issue on my end (I went too far back while practicing and broke the tail fender) So for wheelies yeah they are good!
Do you have to have a license to ride it on the road?
E-bikes do not need a license to ride out anywhere, but I would deffs do some research on the laws in your local area on any ebike before getting a bike like this since it can indeed go WAY faster than the legal limit for e-bikes which is like 24mph.
