Problem here is 'Revelations'. It got added into the New Testament after 300yrs mainly because they thought 'its kinda scary about end of days etc etc and fear in the people's hearts will make them want to repent and also make the church an important part if their lives'. Jesus Christ was an miracle himself being born to an virgin by the power/will of God Almighty. In the Gospels Jesus does not say 'worship me' or 'I am your God', he tells/teaches you to bow to the Father the Almighty God.
