Dannnggggg no love for Prowler

By far David’s solo in “22 ACACIA AVE” has stood the test of time as the most thoughtful solo piece is any Maiden song. My mere humble opinion.

Can definitely hear that Smith was a major part of Somewhere in Time and of Seventh Son. Those two albums were peak maiden for me.

When you think back probably most of the heavy bands today wouldn't exist without the influence of Maiden and Judas,Saxon,Motorhead and b4 them Sabbath,Zepplin,Deep purple etc etc.Judt goes to show how British bands led the way in heavy metal music.

Steve Harris his the best bass player i ever heard! He was different than others and he just stood out.

Adrian brought a lot to the table, much more than what he got credit for. He really exploded writing-wise in Somewhere in Time (Wasted Years, Stranger in a Strange Land, Sea of Madness). Also on 7th Son where his collaboration with Bruce peaks. But I suspect there was some friction in this album, coming from Harris, perhaps envious about too much creative input from the others. The story of him messing with Adrian's Can I play with Madness is pretty well known, and I think him leaving the band after this was no coincidence. Real pity because his emotionally rich and intelligent writing perfectly complemented Steve's powerful "macho" approach to music. We love both combined, and for quite a while we got to enjoy it.

These live moments proves that Iron Maiden are all excellent musicians. Especially Steve Harris on the bass guitar with his two-finger playing technique which makes him a living legend and an icon of his instrument. Between two albums, they play soccer (or football), which makes them excellent and great athletes during their concerts. Steve Harris has a lot of enrrgy on stage. And he is very fast with his fingers on the bass guitar. My favorites with Metallica. One of my favorites on the bass guitar. I hope that Iron Maiden will eventually become the Rolling Stones of heavy metal. They deserve that distinction. Hail Iron Maiden. Hail Steve Harris. 9:00 9:00
