DARE - Abandon - Live July 2023
An amazing live set from the fantastic band DARE. Just one of the songs I recorded live at the ROCK AND BLUES FESTIVAL that takes place every year - DE5 3WT -
Sorry about the tent post Nigel (Bass Player and missing in most of the video) and my dodgy vocal in the chorus.
I first saw this track performed live at the Sheffield Octagon Theatre in the late eighties when Brian Cox was on Keys. Over 30 years later, I’m privileged to do it all again 28th July 2023, the day before my 60th Birthday. Amazing recording artists and an amazing live band. Rock n Respect guys.

My first attempt at shooting a video. My PC isn't up to layering various video tracks but you get the idea. Drums and strings where done on my korg Trinity but I didn't have enough room or PC power to include them in the video. Sorry about the quality. I do not own the music nor do I own the song. This is my attempt at a cover of one of the most amazing bands. Thanks for watching and listening ...

I grew up in the 1980's but I never heard of DARE. I only discovered this song a few years ago.....these were the kinds of songs I was into in high school in the 80's! Great. song and well done!
