Version 7 (maybe the final one) of the infamous Sonic 1 ROM hack, "Sonic ERaZor" is finally here and logged by yours truly! Track titles were mostly taken from the in-game sound test. "Good Morning" (Roland MT-32 Demo Song) - Roland SC-55/GS Adaptation
Просмотров 1128 месяцев назад
After 3 months of putting this project of mine on the back burner, I've finally summoned all my strength and will to finally finish this. This is the "other" Roland MT-32 demo tune I wanted to rearrange using an SC-55mkii. Don't ask me how I somehow took 3 months to come up with this, a lot of personal things happened which I've detailed in one of my community posts. Also, no IRL SC-55 footage ...

Happy Thanksgiving week to those you celebrate it this month! :] Decided to "adapt" a couple demo songs from the Roland MT-32 for Roland GS devices starting with this one - Boiler Buster. The next one will be "Good Morning", the fourth and final song on the list. Better Off Alone (Roblox Ver.) [Roland SC-88 Cover]

Honestly surprised nobody tried to cover this specific version of Better Off Alone that was mostly heard on Roblox in the early 2010s. I decided to put my recently acquired Roland SC-88VL through its paces with this one. Hope you guys enjoy. Roland JV-1010 + SC-88VL Drums Test
Просмотров 206Год назад
Just something I wanted to do ever since getting my JV-1010 last year and figuring out how mediocre the factory drums sounded. Now that I have an SC-88VL in my possession, I can show you how the JV sounds when paired with the 88's meaty sounding drum kits, using the first two tracks from Duke Nukem 3D. A lot better than either the SC-55's or the JV's drums, honestly. (Also, apologies for the hi...
What I've been working on...

I've been spending the past few weeks coming up with a "Gravis Ultrasound Soundfont" featuring the Pro Patches Lite instruments (v1.6.1 to be exact) that hopefully fixes some of the playback issues that were present on factory hardware/software, including the weird decay/release parameters on most of the instruments. All sounds are being recorded in DOSBox-X running an emulated version of Windo...
Zoop - Bored Stiff (Yamaha XG Cover)
Просмотров 28Год назад
A simple cover of one of my favorite tracks to (in my opinion) one of the most underrated puzzle games that was released on many 16- and 8-bit systems. This specific cover is optimized for Yamaha XG compatible gear. Originally composed by Bob Scumaci, Mark Davis and Brian Schmidt. Covered on a Yamaha MU80. WE'RE GONNA BE TALKING ABOUT CLASSIC MAC
Просмотров 772 года назад
Surprised that nobody else has done this considering this meme was hot a year ago. Heck, maybe I'll do one on classic sad mac sounds.
Some of the instruments (especially the drums) remind me of Hideki Abe's sound design, especially with Puyo Puyo.
Muito daora mano
I am sucker for genesis Mega Man music, this is right my alley!! Thank you!!
Beautiful!
Ooh! Thanks!

Cool!
adlib distortion guitar always sounds kinda farty.
It has its own charm (for better or worse).
lets rock
This is probably one of the best recreations of the song i've ever heard. Bravo! 😄

@@pancake8853thank you!
Beautiful cover
Genuine Question: Where would I be able to find this in a MIDI Format instead of the original SID Format? Thanks
You'll have to look around. If I'd known any better, somebody must've already made a MIDI recreation of this song and uploaded it to Dropbox or MediaFire or etc.
@@pancake8853 I’m gonna presume that you just used the .SID that’s easily found online?
@@OXN-RailProductions Yeah, and other covers.
@@pancake8853 Alright, Thanks for replying.
This goes hard as fuck
Nice 👍
Cool
Thanks for creating this masterpiece, anyways, if i can suggest stuff, can you make a cover of this again but on other soundsystems? Such as maybe making this again on maybe the Roland MT-32, this is a suggestion, i am not forcing you.
Been considering it for a while now. Usually I prefer physical hardware, even if there are some risks about their longevity. Plus, I also want to focus on one piece of midi hardware because I'm an easy target for anxiety attacks and I don't want to get stressed about which device I should cover with (I also have a Yamaha MU80 and a JV-1010.)
Csn you make a version of this video that shows all of the waveforms of each channels?
You're on.
Here. ruclips.net/video/1TAYgksO4Sc/видео.html
Sounds absolutely amazing, idk why i don't see more music covers for roland stuff
It's honestly a no brainer. People are more into chiptune and tracker music. They always have.
