I often wonder how the Men of Easy Company in BoB would have gotten along with the men featured in The Pacific if they had (thru some time loop thingie) had met.
Whenever I hear this music I imagine the raising of the titanic
First rule of American war.. never leave a fallen man behind..
This will always bring tears to my eyes. We were once heroes.
James Badge Dale💪🏻
He had to draw with pastels after he ate the crayons…
Heroes are born when cannons roar bullets fly n Earth explodes - When Trunpets Fade WWII Battle of the Bulge. But quotes fit for The Pacific HBO 10 part Miniseries. True story about PFC Eugene Sledge n his friends. Eugene Sledge was a hero maybe the World has forgotten now but I will always respect you n those men who fought with you esp that crazy guy SNAFU 😂... Respects 🙏 from India.
Best intro ever.
Soulfully crafted
Watching this and the Band of Brothers should be a requirement for graduation from High School.
Amen!
They're both my favourite shows but don't be ridiculous
Watching this series this week for the first time. Awesome.
Although I never got a taste of true War enlisting as an 0311, I do pray we don't go through another conflict such as this. The scale of human suffering and devastation is beyond anything most Americans can comprehend today.
I want really watch this full movie the pacific and band of brothers but i dont know where i found the full movies of those two movies i really2 want to watch . Please answer me ???🥺🥺 where ?????
HBO Max. I' also used to rent the movies from the library on DVD
They’re on Netflix as of right now.
someone who has a grandfather who fought with the first infantry division of Guadalcanal.
Oops. At 1:00-1:05 a US Ship underway is flying its jack. When going underway, colors are shifted from jack forward and US flag astern to the US flag aloft from the mast.
i prefer this over band of brothers no offense captain speirs
I agree, though BoB is hands down the superior series. The opening of this is just _powerful._ It brings tears to my eyes because it conveys a time when we were heroes.
Wish Spielberg made another series. The Pacific and BoB are superior to any of the crap today
Agreed dude
There must be some great untold stories from WW1, Korea and Vietnam.
I say Korea or Vietnam. Vietnam is in my opinion far grittier and dark, especially if you read the long list of war crimes the US committed. Korea would be great if Spielberg did it with one episode from a POV of an american, another from a POV of a Canadian, basically showing us the different POVs from the other nationalities fighting in Korea
They're filming a new series now!
He is working on a new HBO miniseries, this time it is based on the Air Force.
Been lookin' for this version of the intro for a long time. Remembered when I first watched this... absolutely incredible emotions from this.
There are diferent versions of the intro?
@@viniciuscoxoba3842 different version of the audio for the intro
@@kylecross5804 thank you
LOL
Does anyone know what the picture of Robert leckie is called

Analysis... Overall, the music evokes the sadness of Honor, the sadness of battlefield Glory, paid for with the blood of boys. Horrible, yet sometimes unavoidable, and calling upon us to respect and remembrance. If listened at higher volume or headset, there is tympani (base drum) that evokes distant explosions. The occasional red stain evokes both blood and the Japanese Rising Sun flag . The charcoal is used as a drawing implement, but when fractured, evokes both shrapnel and emotion....the intense emotion of the Artist, because the Artist is remembering. He was there. This is his story.
Thats last charcoal swipe looks like volcanic ash on Iwo
"He was there, this is his story." Idk, But I got strong emotions from that last line.
@@prestonchambers8464yeah agree I haven't been to iwo jima myself but I have collected and saw ash on top of a building in Indonesia and it almost look the same.
This intro is the best
This never gets old! If I am not watching the intro I listen to the song downloaded from iTunes. Sounds best on headset/earphones. Doesn't matter much which time of the day. Its always on repeat on my playlist and at the end of my workout playlist. Sometimes I would walk home after gym workout or beach jog, about a mile from my apartment, and I put put it on to help make me think and remember. It was the The Pacific Theatre War that took my grandfather to this paradise region where he met my grandmother and have my father. My grandfather survived 4 beach landings including the battle for Tarawa and the battle for Guadalcanal. He was born in 1918, joined the US Marines in 1940 and returned home after the war in 1946. He left in 2014 at age 96.
Great Respect to your grandfather..
Siempre Fi
God bless him for protecting the world's freedom.
Wow, your grandfather sounds like he was a badass. May he always be honored and remembered 🫡
Meus respeitos,ao seu avô um verdadeiro herói de guerra
