Finally a SDA pastor out here that understands; it’s not about exclusivity, being mean, and judgmental, but left because that has been my experience as one brand new Christian. Terrifying, but such a joy to read your “Perspective “ article. Beautiful and comforting article after all the intensely abusive legalism.

What has happened to Greenlake? The congregation that is attending now could fit comfortably in the Chapel. It is so sad to see that post pandemic no seems to be coming anymore.

John McLarty is an apostate preacher who places popular opinion above the Bible. In this sermon he preaches about "perfect people" but, lacks the spiritual qualifications to speak about such things, because he is basing his teachings on human opinion rather than scripture, and a thus saith the Lord. One such example, is his lax stance on the LGBT movement... according to a thus saith "John McLarty" this 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ movement is accepted by God and the Bible needs to be reinterpreted, or rewritten to support this lifestyle choice, regardless of what the Bible says happened to Soddom and Gomorrah. John McLarty is a FALSE shepherd, and leading many good Christians down the dark road to perdition. 🕳 🔥 He is a spiritual infidel unworthy of trust as a Godly leader. One day, God will say to him; "Depart from me, I never knew you!" You worker of iniquity and lies! Repent now John McLarty before your probation closes, and it's forever too late. 📖 😬 😱 😭 🔥💀 ⚰️ 🪦

Why is sola scriptura a matter of preferential posturing? How is it that we run from clear scriptural principles concerning ordination? The issue was argued by Paul, “It is Eve, not Adam, who was deceived.” The issue is never “authoritative leadership” or whatever that was argued here. Very soon we will have ordained Pastors, elders and deacons men or women who are in same sex relationships based on this same argument.

1919 was a secret conference, invitation only, where certain men were trying to change the pioneers beliefs on the daily, try to introduce co- eternal etc. Read it for yourself.

Yes, and NO, Pr Campbell: Relationship is the beginning and end of the Gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and the context in that Christ's Object Lessons chapter includes & concludes with Jesus preparing us for him to fetch us, amen. Will those who are alive to see Jesus come again in glory not need characters, hearts and minds, that can 'endure' with joy seeing with our mortal eyes the holy glory of God? The myth of LGT is missing the Christian relationship while focussing on the 'external signs': sadly Elder Angel doesn't appear to allow demythologizing this point, leaving only a legalistic warning as to what the meaning of last generation theology involves. Since Jesus is the Mediator between God and us, the Bible and our literature is explicit about Jesus being able to close the probation of grace by preparing us with settling us into his own truth, etc.: He will be able to end his mediation: once we combine by his grace to be the fine linen of his bride's wedding dress (Rev 19:8); till the marriage of the Lamb (Rev 19:7, "for the marriage of the Lamb came", marg. reading.) happens we are not ready "to meet him in the air", are we? We're still too interested in eating the wedding cake, as a bridesmaid, than being in the bride's shoes & dress & wedding of the Lamb, maybe. In Sister White's writings and those others too that this talk named: "Why Jesus Waits", whose author, Elder Herbert Douglass, wrote "The Messenger of the Lord", that huge book, points out that growing in christlikeness and practical Godliness intensifies the presence of the Holy Spirit, indeed Christ himself - amen, and thereby increases our experience of repentance till indeed we repent of both sinful habits & deeds and also repent of sinful inclinations, too: is Jesus not our Saviour & Example in this, and shall we not thank him as he leads us all the way along this path which he himself has consecrated for us to follow him in? Dr Campbell should not have come that hair's breadth away from contradicting Sister White's warning against rejecting Waggoner & Jones' joint message on account of them leaving this church: Bro Campbell said that the "Victorious living" literature couldn't have taken its cue from their writings, for their books were not a big enough mark in history; no, it was fundamentalism's influence, he suggested, as well as the non-Adventist holiness movement that motivated our books he showed us. Actually, He really sounded like he was saying their early message should be discarded, since they drifted away in the end. Be aware that they remained committed to Christ even though they left our church. That holiness movement was a part of starting our "victory in Jesus" literature, but Sister White's own writings were the most likely cue for our victorious living literture: after the lifetime of Ellen White, these books were espousing and continuing her message. Elder Andreasen's teaching came from the Bible, assisted by Ellen White's books. Yet, Sister White also wrote that Waggoner & Jones had begun the message of the loud cry. God led Elders Wieland & Short, both careeer missionaries to separate posts central & southern Africa, to revisit W & J in 1888, in 1950. Donald Short was the only fellow delegate at that year's GC Session who would sign Robert Wieland's written appeal to the Executive Committee that we were too confused about Jesus, especially about his humanity, to be able to lead out in the revival called for at that session. Their research in the archives that year, home again after ten years, almost cost them their credentials, for the Brethren demanded to see their concerns written down: they agreed not to propagate their discovery that wemas a church had forgotten about 1888. The book 1888 Re-Examined is the script they submitted to the Brethren in 1950, revised to be readable by ordinary church members. Let us be cautious and mark ourselves that we, had we been Exec. Comm Brethren, we would have done the same thing, hiding such a shock from the church. We are all called to the utmost repentance, for we are all equally guilty. Here is a brief summary, posted by one of our churches in Tennessee, of the elements of the gospel message of 1888 which we and the whole world needs to understand for Jesus highlighted this for us, in these last days. Is victory over sin a viable and good gospel teaching?....The first three individuals all believed and taught so.

Moses was up on the mountain with his YHWH ELOHIM while Aaron had many of the Israelites dancing around the God who had led them out of Egypt and out of Bondage and that God resembled a golden calf (on a work day). Kind of like the muscular man with long hair hanging on a cross, or the stained glass image of God number two that 6th Night 🌃 Adventists claim is the God who led the Israelites out of Egypt and out of Bondage? Right? The New Moon 🌒 is still and the Sabbath Originally was Dependant Upon the Lunar Cycle...("Holidays" Universal Jewish Encyclopedia p.410). Read Ezekiel 46: 1-3 & Isaiah 66: 22-(24) & Leviticus 23 and Exodus 16 unless you prefer 'Venus' Day Night 🌃 and worshipping the god of the Roman Catholics that is one Being with three personalities (tripolar)? Times have a way of changing, but not that much.

U are so right Dr… lesser light ever pointing to the greater light … knew that all my life as a SDA I have no issue with her writings even when it seems to contradict with the Bible … upon closer investigations, all those verses & EGW writings matched perfectly 100%…. Years ago Dr Paulien mentioned a verse from SC…something about none are sinless. Shared it with local church man; he checked it out for 2 days and then told me she misquoted it! Most church members are making extreme stuff up just to twist her writings to say what “they” want it to say.

🥭🥭😄. Beautiful choir, music. Hooray….women proclaiming the Second Coming of Jesus! Have to be out of church myself to safely do it, w/o church persecution. Thankful for Dr Paulien to back me up in my zealousness in ministry worldwide as a brand new Christian, and God’s hand is in it.

Have listened to 3 presentations today....seems like a 4th was mentioned - will search it out. Dr. Campbell is rad! Have thoroughly enjoyed his presentations. Love Mrs. White - she was ahead of her time on Child Guidance and Adventist Home. Very nurturing, very compassionate, lots of empathy. We've experienced much conflict with other SDAs on vegetarian forums, even though we ate this way for several years after first coming to Adventism (about 20 years ago).....and lost our health. Loved it when Dr. Campbell said that we will not get saved through vegetarianism, or some such....love it!!! We are very sensitive to carbs, any processed foods, adulterated, glyphosated, etc....its very hard to eat 100% organic and fresh all the time....gross lack of empathy for our particular health needs on the part of some hardcore SDA vegetarians.... "potluck police" - lol

Love this. Very grateful for Myrtle’s teaching the children’s prayer; will memorize it, and all the things she’d said. I think the point some are missing is that all sin is equal in the eyes of the Lord, and Jesus forgives all sin. The point is that WE are not to judge and be a barrier between people and the Lord because we pick and chose sin to condemn. If we stand in the way of people and the possibility of them knowing Jesus because of a certain sin that we may deem unworthy what does that do? What authority do we have to do this? None, this is a similar mindset and mistake the Pharisees made. God is love.

Beautiful sermon and so important to speak about this topic in this light, Jesus is the way the truth and the light, no one comes to the Father except through Him!

Thank you for this message of love, compassion and inclusion. I am praying for all those who believe they know the truth of the remnant church and still hold hatred and judgement their hearts. God cannot pour out his latter rain until we stop hating people for not being born like "us."??? God DID create man for woman, perfect in his image, but sin corrupted all of this. now many are born with disabilities, disease and malformations. Gay, Bi, trans and those born with both sex organs, do not choose this. I am visually impaired and did not choose this. People have shunned me for my disability. Let's start loving everyone, even those who did not choose their sexual orientation they were born with. Hatred and judgement of others is of the devil. Love and acceptance is of Christ. I once babysat for a small child, who I could tell would probably grow up to be a gay man. He was sweet, innocent and just a child, but any observer could tell he would likely grow up to be gay. 15 years later, I learned he did indeed come out as gay man, and I knew, this was not a choice but the way he was born. God did not want this boy to be gay or me to be visually impaired or others to have cancer, diabetes or obesity. Love thy neighbor, love everyone! We need to live the truth of Jesus Christ! And that truth is LOVE! Let God handle the rest!
