Why Buy From A Store vs. A Trunk Slammer
I can't find Hunter Douglas info on what type gauge/type of wire to use by my electrician when building the house. Do you know the wire details or have a link to an instruction guide for my electrician?
He said 16/2 going from the window to the power box
Useful Video - thank you
❤
Great explanation! Would you need 2 low voltage wires if you are doing a dual roller shade?
Thank you for the info.
My shades and charger aren’t like this. I have an extension cord (with retractor) that plugs into the shade itself. Battery lasted over a year after installation, but only a couple months after the first recharge. Any ideas?
Great video Dan!
This was helpful. Thanks from AZ.
hello,I want to know the size of the charging port, can you tell me?
Great installation video
Very helpful. Thank you!
How do you remove the felt sealer on top
Thanks! I do believe that the previous owners did not leave us with what you plug the charging unit into. We have all the pieces except for the wall unit/the USB plug in to recharge the wand
You can order a replacement from a local Hunter Douglas source. Just make sure to get the correct one. It depends on what year the shades where ordered. They change the styles occasionally.
Very helpful video thank you!
Thanks for video. What genius at Hunter Douglas thought this system is an improvement over the old snap on handle.
Any way that I can fix a hunter Douglas that won't go up anymore? It's the push up/pull down style one, no string to pull...
Thanks for the assist!
My Powerview App doesn't have the speed option listed under Scene Edit mode even though the app is updated... What the heck? I want to try this
The little plastic tensioner does not want to stay in place. I guess it should bind in the track and stay in place? I even bought a new one and have the same problem. Any idea what the problem is?
What batteries do they take?
Being a new home owner it is great to see that these products are available. Thank you for the product introduction!
Very good explanation. The screw on mine was a torque 6 (T7)
Silhouette shades are gorgeous- I have semi sheer kind in a breakfast area large window and a glass side door.
Cool video. Is there a way to set favorite for a shade group? I don't see a gear to go set favorites. Seems like favorite is for individual shades only. Thanks, D.
What communication protocol can be used with the actual blinds? Looking to get them connected to home assistant?
There's a Home Assistant integration available for it. That should enable HomeKit as well, if you want.
Thanks for adding a hardwire video for Hunter Douglas coverings.
nice! do the shades retain their settings even with the battery removed?
Since the halo version has more of a hole in it, does that mean the vein/slat also has more layers of fabric? Asking since I like the sheer capability when the veins are tilted open, but when closed, I want it to block as much light as possible without having to go to the level of adding the blackout shade as well.
Great content!!! #1 subs provider -> Promo_SM.
We have some cracked handles. We just learned that our old screws are not T6...we may need a T7 or T8 to removed our old screws. The T6 and the instructions on the video work great for the bottom rail handle replacement.
How do you do this for the middle rail for the Top-Down/Bottom Up shades?
Very helpful video. It would be helpful to see how to remove the blind from the brackets. We just received replacement LiteRise Handles for our 2016 Duette Shades. In the instructions that came from Hunter Douglas, it says to use a T6 (with Duette and Applause shade) or T8 (with Austria Duette shade) magnetized Torx bit with a long driver to unscrew the handle screw. I think in the video, he mentions using a T8. Great video and easy to see how to do it.
Just what I needed. Thank you!
hi thanks for posting this. is it possible to do re-attach the bottom panel with the blind still hanging or does the blind need to removed entirely? Thank you again.
You can remove the bottom bar while the shade is still hanging. You do not have to remove the shade. With that being said, it is usually eaiser to put the bottom rail back on (for an inside mount shade) if the shade is removed form the brackets!
Thank you! I had no idea that the batteries were held in with a magnet. Until I saw your video, I did not want to simply pull on them.
Glad I could help!
Hi! I’m a resident of Milwaukee. I’m wondering if you could design this plain idea dresser that I have.
Sure! Send us an email to: info@inspiredclosetsmke.com
I'm first and last 2 see this

Easyrise
...sorry - I can see from the tradenames LiteRise etc that this is the system used in the UK by LuxaFlex...
is this available in the UK?
Ok, the flame test looks like crap. I agree. A simple paper could have reduced the reading on that sensor. It is really only measuring what it sees optically.
That demonstration is flawed. The infrared thermometer couldn't even see the flame through the blind, a simple piece of paper could have achieved the same thing. Compare the exterior and interior tempertures of the blind with the sun on the exterior, then we'll talk.
