Congrats on your bonus! You definitely deserve a break. I think the housing market is still kind of crazy, so you'll probably need more like at least 20k depending on where you live. I'd also suggest saving for moving expenses, furniture, 1st month of expenses in the new place if possible, etc... but you seem to have everything well in hand. I'm guessing your Vanguard is retirement which is freaking awesome! I didn't see a savings for emergency fund, 8-12 months of bills/expenses is best. You're doing so well! Suze Orman has a free podcast called women and money if you're interested. Great video!
