Thanks hood test ! You’re on it!
@thewaterheaterfactory hope your having a great weekend 😀 I need to sit my but down and catch up on your vids 😀 while I have the chance
Hi Josh that was a good test it looks like you're keeping that old air conditioner running good it looks good for its age you can tell you've been keeping up on it Hope you have a good weekend thank you for the video.
@@ResidentialRepairs thankyou try to keep up on everything
@ResidentialRepairs do you think you can do yhe screwdriver vidioe at somepoint
@@Hvac-dude Hi Josh Yes I finally got my acetylene filled as you know on the last job that I videotaped I think last weekend I was on my last leg on my acetylene I then had it refilled so I will try to get that done I warn you it's not going to be much of a video it's just a couple of harbor freight screwdrivers that I'm going to heat up and put a 90° bend on the one that is already flat but on the one that has a Phillips I'm going to probably cut the Phillips off and then heat it up and beat it flat and shape it up a little bit just to make a scraper to reach into some of these pipes and clean them out please don't expect much I'm kind of embarrassed to post it but I will for you Josh I was going to just get it down and put them away but if you really want to see it all do it. Thank you for showing interest so Josh it's flattering.
@ResidentialRepairs Don't be embarrassed 😀 it's all good
The unit can be programmed . It has a hight temp limit that you can set and it also has a low limit you can set . Cl is for cold limit and hl is for hot limit .if your power is off for a few days and your battery go dead the unit will factory reset to 68 . You won’t be able to raise or lower the temp until you reset the limit settings if they are on .
The more I teardown this fucken house and I want to be as blunt as possible so you fucks are aware the hatred in me to you fucks intensify. FUCK YOU I Know everything I do on this phone is read and monitor..FUCK YOU
Thank you Josh for sharing I have one I should use it more often like after installing a water heater or something.
@ResidentialRepairs your welcome 😀 there very good tools
Nice!
@thewaterheaterfactory thanks bud 😀 yeah that hybrid water heater looked like a tough job
I have one I should use it more often thank you for the video Josh.
@@ResidentialRepairs your welcome 😀 is it a regin bjornax that's the brand I have !
@ResidentialRepairs do you know when you can make the shovel vidioe to 😀😀
@@Hvac-dude well Josh I went and picked up a couple harbor freight screwdrivers that were only like $6 for both it came in a two pack so I'm working on it I'll probably when I have time this week or weekend I'll cut him down to the length that I want and then I'll put some acetylene on it and beat a flat spot and then put a 90 bend on it or something like that I'll put it on video but I did get the two screwdrivers it was in a twin pack from harbor freight I figured I'd make one for myself and one for Vinnie
@@ResidentialRepairs okay 😀
Good stuff bro!!
@thehandymanexperience226 thanks!! I'm trying my best 😀
That is acetylene gas really heats up the pipe quick I imagine on jobs where you’re sweating a lot of copper that saves a lot of time.
@thewaterheaterfactory yes! Yeah it's good for both plumbing and refrigeration also depends on what size tip your using that's my brazing tip or for soldering water pipe the bigger the pipe the more heat and bigger size tip I believe that is an A 11 tip like I said there's diffrent sizes
Thank you for taking the time to do that Josh that rod flowed really nice Great job.
@ResidentialRepairs thankyou it's not perfect but I tried !!
@@Hvac-dude it doesn't have to be perfect it just needs to be done that would never leak.
@ResidentialRepairs very true!!
Post when you can ! That's all you can do! Good luck with the new HVAC Job !
@@thewaterheaterfactory thankyou bud !!!
Congrats!
@@thewaterheaterfactory thanks!!
11k views - good job 👍
@thewaterheaterfactory thankyou bud I'm trying my best to do good vidioes !!!
Very informative ! Great video!
Boy that is a big difference between use and non-use of nitrogen maybe one day you can demonstrate the nitrogen as well or a demonstration on how it would be introduced to the copper while you're soldering or braising rather thanks for the video Josh have a great day
@@ResidentialRepairs you to 😀
Keep it up !
@@thewaterheaterfactory Thankyou !!!!
Very good information thank you Josh.
@ResidentialRepairs anytime just from experince is all 😊
Hey Josh, how are you doing? I was wondering if you could help me with my problem. I have the same thermostat (Pro T701) and every time I change the batteries my A/C, heater, and fan stop working. When I program the A/C the system is supposed to be working because the screen says "Cool on" but the A/C system is completely off. What could be the problem or how could I fix it? Thanks!
@rickgonzalez4273 I woukd definitely reach out to your local hvac technician in your area 😀 it coukd be the thermostat but not sure cause I'm not there to actually see what's going on bud I'm sorry I feel really bad I wish I could help more
That little round piece that you have in your hand with a rubber that is part of the stem it comes welded on or braised on and that's exactly where it snaps when you go to try to open it Good video Josh it shows all the internals Great job. Hope you have a great week.
@ResidentialRepairs thankyou vince I hope you have a great week !!! Any vidioes coming up ?!
@@Hvac-dude I hope to have a few coming up by weekend hopefully thank you for asking talk to you soon Josh.
Not a fan of those valves!
@@thewaterheaterfactory eithier am I they break so easy I really don't understand why people still put those in
How do you set it where they cant lower it ? My brother's fatass gf keeps lowering it, and i pay the bills so ,, how can i keep it on a lock for the ac ?
I didn't even know they made that thank you Josh.
@ResidentialRepairs your welcome !! Yeah I think home inspectors use it for air leak testing to
@ResidentialRepairs I was playing around in the shed yesterday work has been slow as a snail
@@Hvac-dude I hope it picks up for you.
@@ResidentialRepairs I hope so to !!!
@ResidentialRepairs dp you have any more vidioes coming ?
I bought a new one and took the old on off the part that goes on the wall and just put the new one on. Am I suppose to take the old one off the wall and put the new one on the wall or can the old part on the wall work with the new one. It does come on but it runs forever seems like.
@Seariders4eva yeah I mean if it's the exact same thermostat you shoukd be able to use the old wall mount plate !!!
@Seariders4eva if the units running alot it may just be extremely hot out it was 92 degrees were I live today ! Keep an eye on it and see what happens 😊
@@Hvac-dude Mount plate that's the name lol sorry I'm so new at this 🙂 It's the exact same one so I'm hoping it will work effectively because I don't want to have to replace the wall mount and hassle with wires. It's extremely hot in California I can't wait till this weather cools down. Thanks for reply to my question 👍🏽
@Seariders4eva anytime bud I'm not perfect but I try my best 😀 yeah if it's the T701 model you should be ok !
@@Hvac-dude Thanks 👍🏽
Bs video
@jimgarcia5165 thanks for commenting 😁
Keep wasting your own time. Stop wasting anyone else's.
@ReddFoxx1562 get off my channel then friend if you don't like it
I really like the simplicity of that thermostat most of my customers prefer a simpler model like that I mean there are the ones that want the Wi-Fi but this is a really good simple model easy to use thank you for sharing.
@ResidentialRepairs anytime yeah the T701 I recommend try it out sometime there cool thermostats !!! Honeywell is good to !!
CAN YOU GO OVER THE DIFFERENT SETTINGS ON THE THERMOSTATIC?
@@BOUJEE_ONABUDGET yes
@@Hvac-dude THANK YOU.
@@BOUJEE_ONABUDGET ill probably end up doing it later this evening !!!!
How do u reset those thermostats though? Can u make a video showing this?
@xhoustonkingx6212 sure when I have time ☺️
@@Hvac-dude nice thanks
I dont see the HL on mine amd my roomare keeps changing it so the ac wont kick on. Help
HL is when it’s on heat. Your is probably on cool, so you see CL (cool limit) instead of HL(heat limit)
Keep up the good work sir!!
Thanku I'm still learning everyday !!!
How do you unlock it
I will make a vidioe on it tonight 😊!! And happy Friday I hope you guys are staying cool !!
Those are some really good tips thank you for sharing Josh
Anytime !!!!! Do you have anymore plumbing vidioes coming up ?!

Very good information I would have never thought about creating grooves I've been doing it all wrong probably half wrong I've been using that maroon color pad for polishing copper for ProPress I forget the name of that pad anyway that could probably create grooves too thank you for sharing have a good week Josh.
You to 😊
Do you have anymore vidioes coming !
Well done, thanks
Thankyou !!!
Just use sil-fos and be done with it
So your adding flux that will find its way to the compressor... just braze it with 15 percent silver solder while purging with nitrogen.
This was practice I was not doing this on a acutal system but I do use braze and just replace the entire line set if I had to
What kind of tripod do you need?
Great video thank you Josh for the demonstration I can apply that to plumbing as well.
You can ! But I would use the plumbing solder bit I belive you might be able to
Great job!
Thanku !!!! Yeah I can't wait to get a tripod
Sorry about the quality trying my best
That's a good collection of torches.
Thanks vince 😊😊 yes I have a very awsome of various torches to complete diffrent jobs 😊 and many other tool I have a dewalt grinder I really like the dewalt platform but also have some ryobi stuff 😊
Is there a low limit as well?
Yes!
You can lock at like 70 so no one can go below that or where ever you would like to lock it at !!
@@Hvac-dude appreciate it!
I've done that a time or two over the years. I hate it. Thanks for sharing Josh.
Anytime 😊😊
