Americans put up with crap food and plastic
How's your immigration problem?
in europe.. thats not true! in poland you can buy panikillers in normal supermarkets too ;)
Also food dyes are allowed as long as they are “naturally” and have been checked. These will have an E number in Europe!
Painkillers incorrect can also buy them at “drogist” (sells over the counter medicines w/ no prescriptions) but not in those huge quantities!
What freedom looks like.
Is it freedom to use plastic? 😅
@ apparently, and to pollute, USA , #1.
And yet Germany still sucks.
Mach das was du interessant findest. Carculture und Roadtrips alla Truckhouse Life mit ungewöhnlicheren Fahrzeugen gehen immer.
Why is Germany come up with such bad ideas?
No wonder the people in Europe are healthier. I hope we, in the US, catch up soon.
The devil is a liar and deceiver.....you pink people...smfh
*fahr mal zu deinen holländischen nachbarn da kannst du auch bei aldi medikamente kaufen*
RFKJ we need you!
Beta wokeness
And still the Germans and Americans have a similar life expectancy. More German Bloedsinn
I think I need a plane ticket. I have food allergies and I've had to give up so many things 😢
Of course do you can have plastic equipment and use them. The big whole seller can't order new or sell if they have empty stock. 😅 Why do you talked wrong stuff? Crazy idiots here on RUclips.
always great to call people idiots if you can't even speak proper english. try harder next time.
wise words. american candles < german candles
The no plastic bag thing is a huge pain in the ass. To be honest let that crap go.
I agree! Especially not having plastic bags is a huge pain lol, I hate these weird paper bags that break after using it once
Plastik cups ,plates , etc are everywhere in Germany . From which Dorf du you come from?
globaltaxnews.ey.com/news/2023-0996-germany-to-implement-single-use-plastics-levy-from-2024-extending-scope-to-certain-fireworks-from-2027
He should go back in and search for all natural stuff. Which is just a little further down the aisle instead of pointing out the negatives. The choice is yours to make whether you want the natural or the garbage. That's the best part about it..
In the US you have more freedom, and you should be able to chose to use plastic cups and bags or not. I don't aggree with tricking consumers though to think that something is healthy and natural and is not, it should be clearly stated so that the consumer can make an informed choice.
Guess IAM not going to Germany
Guess Germany is not too worried...
you won't be able to. you won't survive a day with your white sugar and corn syrup addiction there.
Why is there no freedoms in Germany
This is exactly what I'm saying. They're government restrictions from living life. At least here in the states there's a choice. I'm sure this dude could have gone anywhere else. But he chose to come here. Why is the question..
I love America, and I love the freedom and oppourtunities you have here! And you should have a choice if you wanna use plastic or not! But I don't agree in tricking consumers to think this is a natural product and it is not.
@@alfbeef5880 yes great choices you have. in some states (soon in all of them ;) ) if you get some real problems during pregnancy, you can choose between abortion and then going to jail or you can choose to just die because the doctors won't help you. but hey, at least your government aren't restricting anything huh?
Sorry but in Germany and Europe there is much more freedom ( but much much more) than in the Us..just that here we don't hv to be brain washed to be convinced there is freedom!!
@@alfbeef5880but we don't want to use plastic
The sucky german way of living...boooorriiing😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
it might be boring, but at least we won't have to sell our house to pay our medical bills.
But the aspirin bottle was made out of plastic
Is not in Germany but all Europe
You mean the UNITED STATES! America contains TWO CONTENANTS and DOZENS of countries!!! You have to be HYPER ARROGANT to think that ONLY the States are in AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!
Yet the title is mentioning US .... twice
Das ist doch kein Recycling
Find a better word than "banned." There's no black market for this stuff. It's simply "not available" because of health concerns.
The food part is completely wrong The food dye is labeled different Eine kurze Google Suche hätte dir das mitgeteilt
Germany has been influenced by Greta Thunberg, save the planet 😂
13€ um den Dreh je nach Region und meist sind die Eierkartons ja etwas kleiner
Of course Americans have best values of corporate profits over health/safety and freedom to keep our #1in1st world in diabetes, obesity, addiction, shortest life expectancy, USA#1!
It makes me wonder why do americans need to bleach the white flour? White flour is white anyway...
Yes but America needs to have the whitest flour in the whole world! I think it has some advantages if you bake highly automated
@Tobi_in_Miami I looked it up: bleaching flour produces finer grain flour for higher ratio cakes, cookies and quick breads. I still feel confused, becouse I can do all of the above with plain flour too. 😂
@@daniby9894 lol yeah, but maybe if you use like heavy machines and you want to highly automated it might have an advantage. But it is weird, especially they rip out all the nutritions and then enrich it again, super strange.
@Tobi_in_Miami Still, I don't think there's some big baking advantage lies ine that naked flour, otherwise they wouldn't be throwing 20 other ingredients into making a sliced bread in a bag with a long shelf life...
I think instead of just pointing out the differences in the food the video is made to be rude or talk smack about America.
Germany must be a boring country to live in😂
Surely..I like their sense fór having things in order - Ordnung muß sein 😊
You're comparing Corn Flakes with Special K. Those are two different cereals! The US does still list more ingredients but at least compare the same products.
At this point America is honestly like one giant crazy cult like science experiment !!!
Good to live in Europe! ❤ Nothing is nice in usa.
Many nice things in America not only Germans here but many people around the world that bring many nice things to this great country
The governments in europe pick and choose what you shall Do with your life. At least there's still a choice available somewhere in the world.
Cooles video mach weiter so
I wish they banned plastics in the US but there is too much corporate greed. They don’t give a crap about the environment
soooo you say they don't sell plastic...yet i see that majority of items are cowered by plastic....
The ban is for one-time use plastic PRODUCTS, so for example straws, cups, those flimsy shopping bags... Those are banned. But plastic for packaging and of course solid plastic products (garden furniture, pens, etc), still totally legal and common.
@@einblauesplektrum2089take away paper cups are lined with plastic
the more ingredients are just actually a more comprehensive list of ingredients + the USA has some laws that make it so they need to add vitamins to things like cereal
I don't understand why is there a law to add vitamin? Can't I just get my vitamins from fruit and veggies?
@@Tobi_in_Miamiexactly 💯
Technically the fish thing…they don’t add colour to the fish meat. Farmed salmon misses out on the natural food that turns a salmons flesh pink, so when farming salmon they add that astaxathin which is normally found in wild salmons prey, into the feed. It’s not a red food dye, it’s the natural colour found in algae, krill and small crustaceans that wild salmon eat but farmed have no access to. They add it to the pellets because a greyish white salmon would not be appetizing, nor what people are used to.
yeah, but the salmon in the video was actually wild salmon, at least thats what it says on the package, so I don't understand how it could have food dyes in it? Or maybe it is just called wild salmon but it still is farmed salmon?
You can farm "wild salmon" its just a different type of farming. @@Tobi_in_Miami
@ussinussinongawd516 no. Wild is caught in the wild not farmed
The additive here is red40, not astaxanthin. It’s not banned in the whole EU or UK (but some countries, including Germany, have banned it completely) but it is linked to some health risks and warning labels due to its link to behavioural issues in children are usually required so most companies have switched to alternatives.
@@cllrhollyburton7218It also contains yellow 6 (sunset yellow) and yellow 5(lemon yellow) yellow 6 is banned in the EU and the UK. yellow 5 is restricted in use. Red 40 is allowed, but requires a warning label.
i wish they were as anti plastic as you seem to believe
I mean you litteraly cannot get a plastic bag and plastic straws in germany. They make you get this weird paper bags that always rip, I can reuse a plastic bag many times. A paper bag only lasts 1 max 2 times.
You just have to find the wright store. But it is true that plastic straws are hard to find. @@Tobi_in_Miami
All of my local grocery stores here in Brandenburg have plastic bags, and they also have little plastic cups add silverware made of plastic, not sure what you're talking about @@Tobi_in_Miami
Wie in DE einfach die Sachen ins Regal gefeuert 😂
❤ ALDI
It is sick and disgusting that people are making jokes out of the death of a CEO, just because he valued shareholder profit above human life. I am utterly shocked by how many are ready to celebrate the death of someone just because he was responsible for so many deaths himself.
Cool, I'm half German but never been to something like this...the food is interesting
Where do you live? They might have something similar close to you :)
@Tobi_in_Miami Pennsylvania, NJ area
@@hijakyurio2705 I am sure you can find something there :)
@@Tobi_in_Miami How do you find these meetings and is it mostly like, German heavy accent English speakers or just normals like myself
Facebook Events is a good source where I find a lot of these. Most people are native English speakers like you, but once in a while you will stumble upon a German who just migrated and he would speak German heavy accent english (like myself)
