The tuning could've been cool but some characters shouldn't have access to some abilities/loadouts. For example revive characters having the ability to restore GP of players you revive or Red Deku being capable of increasing his Alpha damage even more. The main issue is they punish the community for apparently being "non new player friendly" because people would get kicked a lot apparently yet add a tuning system with multiple different abilities locked behind characters then you have ranked which is by far the best place to get tickets quickly for a new player but make it feel impossible to rank up because you don't have any of the "meta" characters and your entry cost discount is non existent.

She’s fun what I don’t like is that when u use her special action when u fall ur a sitting duck but she does good dmg early game and late game she is a monster

Hot take: this new tuning system actually sounds really nice. It is extremely overcomplicated but calling it pay to win is a bit much. If anything it just feels like you're buffing your characters in the aspect you want it to be buffed in. For instance maybe you feel assault deku's alpha needs more damage or his gamma needs higher reload speed. You can buff that (mind you it's not a significant difference and it just makes the game a bit more convenient.) You can also get rid of the stun effects meaning no hawks beta will hurt you ever again. You can get new auras for the skins you love. I genuinely believe it looks fun (but overcomplicated). But think about it this way: surely everyone has a bunch of unwanted (possibly PUR) skins they got in rolls trying to pull for a character. Theyre already giving out free level up currency in weeklies. And everyone has at least 1k hero souls. So i believe it's just a way to make things more fun. Besides its a free game. If you think its a way for the devs to make money youre probably right. Where else will they earn money after all. If you use your tickets wisely you'll end up getting the characters you want instead of buying characters you dont want and regretting it later. The leaks show the upcoming characters so just save up till your fav is right around the corner. It's that simple. Pretty sure the new system is because the devs are too lazy to listen to our suggestions regarding nerfs and buffs so they're probably just like "do it yourself". I know some of these perks are crazy like the freeze effects thing but technically you cant have all the good ones in the same skin. Its a tradeoff and it adds an element of surprise. Just let the season play out more I think this system sounds really fun. I believe it is a useless feature but it isnt "game breaking". Like it doesnt ruin the game. You can put up as much of a fight with base characters. The kota finder is broken af though. Other than that you cant really tune a character much. I mean the hp one only increases your hp by 6 at max. Who needs that. The damage buff increases your damage barely by like 3 or something. It's useless. I believe they should focus on adding crossplay i mean it's a battle royale and their playerbase id already low af. Matchmaking takes ages. Just add it between consoles and then you could maybe fix the hacking problems on pc and add pc to crossplay as well. Thats what i think they should do. Long paragraph ik....

I get it. Ive defended the gacha cos keeps lights on but this is mid. Mainly cos im salty i wasted souls on colors n now they important. I don't think it's the worst thing but literally nobody expected nor wanted something like this, there's also the likelihood of people buying out to get ahead of others with the TUNING System. Also they could've made it a lot simpler.

Basically you get the aura after you unlock all slots but if you have an outfit already with rainbow/evil aura then the slots are automatically unlocked. So you just need the resources to assign the skills. Ngl some skills sound busted while some sound useless, specifically the special tuning skills (you get them from unlocking either the left or right side fully) are cracked while the normal passives are negligible (for example 1 max hp up only give 3hp per skill). I wanna like this system because it kinda lets you customize your characters playstyle on the other hand it sucks its per costume and not character so you have to grind or spend money.

I don’t like this season as much as last season because last season you just got like 500 tickets right at the start if you had like level 30 and you had every single character you could get from the free pass but you got like 100 this season and I’m on the ninth rank for my consul like agency so you get more from that But I got like 50 this season

my first two summons got me nothing and the second got me hawks even tho i already have him so thats terrible luck

I hate the new T.U.N.I.N.G system it's just a third way of p2w with the other two being characters and skillsets, also this shows how greedy the devs are

Some of these tuning buffs are broken, one makes you invulnerable to damage at the start of a fight and another makes you straight up immune to stun abilities, I don't know what they were cooking this is the most pay to win thing I have ever seen.
