@@shawneebushatz1963 so the plan is to continue making Devlogs as it’s great free promotion, and the future of this game is it will continue to be updated and I will start work on the next one in the series depending how it does financially

@@DakuModo hard to say, as it really comes down to the player and how quick they solve puzzles / enemy areas, but on my run which was done 100% with no resets and knowing the puzzles it took me like 30-35 minutes ish

I think it would be nice if at some point in the game the Chaos Insurgency arrive and you have to fight them.

One tip for the camera / FPS body movement is to add a small bit of camera lag (using a spring arm) That will smooth out the ''jerk'' in the FPS body when turning!

Your new headbobbing is also bad. The angle shouldn't change too much, IRL our eyes lock on to fixed points in the environment, so whatever is in front of you won't appear to shift very much when your head moves. Look up DICE's research into realistic headbobbing for Mirror's Edge.

Played some of it, so far it's amazing - I love the added camera effects that really add an extra level to the game. My only ask is if you could add a control config option for lefties.
Not gonna lie, it looks absolutely amazing. But here's some feedback that I think would add a lot: add a sound for when you use the key on the door, and include pickup noises to enhance the clarity of the game and improve the sound design a bit. Can't wait to buy and support your game!
What do you use for modeling as the visuals are astonishing? Any recommendations on software to use?
I didn’t make any of the models in the game which is why they look amazing, but for anything 3D modeling Blender is the best
@@LenexTL If it works it works ;) . Blender is quite good I guess but I have my issues with sculpting and texturing. I'll probably also get into assets myself. Great work and looking forward to the next dev-logs of yours.
